Do break up with him, you'll be doing him a favor so that he can find someone more suited to him too. Tell him that your feelings are not the same as his and that you think he's a really nice guy but not really your type. That's the truth. He WILL be hurt, but it'll be better now than later.
And don't tell him that you're breaking up because you don't want to be in a relationship if that's not true. He'll find out if you start seeing other people right away and that'll be horrible for him.

Yeah, I feel ur frustration with him, I have experienced that sam situation in the past, but its ur choice to stop it. Even if it means to beforward and straight up with him, he might be obsessed with u. I would tell him u want to brake up even thought he has done and bought all these nice things, but if u cant stand to be around him ignore him tell he isn't ur type, just the truth u want time alone, something. then tell him u just want 2 b friends. You will be miserable. Money doesnt by love , and u will be unhappy and more frustrated if u continue
