It's perfectly okay. The highest you can go is 4 years so it's all good. Hell, when I was 16, I dated a 21 year old.

I would definately make sure that your parents will be ok with this. I would not say a 18 yr old is too much older for you to go out with but definately have parents approval. They may want to get to know him a little. Parents also have good sences sometimes if a guy for their daughter is right for her and going to treat her right. Does this guy respect you? Respect others? 18 year olds and around that age can tend to think about sex alot. Just be careful and get to know him first. Make sure you and parents ar comfortable with this guy first before going further. Good luck.

Yeah, my first girlfriend was 2 years younger than me, it didn't last incredibly long but we had a pretty good time. We were 17 and 15. At that age don't expect anything serious, just try to have a good time and get to know each other, and get some dating experience.

Well, it depends on what state you are in and what your relationship entails. If any kind of physical contact or sexual activity is involved, then research your state's age of consent laws to determine whether or not your partner has a legal right to engage in such activities with you.

Besides that, if you're referring to cultural stigmas associated with dating someone that much younger than you, I think it's no big deal. Ignore what people say. As long as the two of you are on the same level of maturity, you should get along fine.

Legally it is. When you are sixteen and he is 18, that is ok. However, be careful. Make sure that your parents always know whom you go with and where you go, no matter what. Because your parents are still responsible for you until you are 18. And make sure that you can't get pregnant. Take a contraceptive or make sure you guys use condoms.....Good Luck

It's okay for you to date an 18 year old as long as he respects and doesn't take advantage of you. If you feel that he isn't doing any of these things, then leave him behind.

It's fine, but yeah - make sure your parents are okay with it. As someone else said, they -are- responsible for you until you're 18 yerars of age. Good luck.
