My best friends gf started working amd she met this girl and they became close friends. Well she had this brilliant idea that we should double date because apparently this girl would be perfect for me. It makes me feel weird and I dont know why. I got out of a serious realtionship a few months ago and I am back on the dating "scene" but this makes me feel weird. What should I do? Should I go for it?

It seems that everyone has to get married and have children. My life seems to revolve around men. I'm either going out with men or texting them etc, coz i'm used to having male attention it's weird when i don't have it, i feel like somethings missing. But i shouldn't feel like that because it's ok to be alone isn't it?
When i see old friends they ask me about my love life, as if it's not normal to not be going out with anyone or even interested in anyone. My point is is there more to life, why is it nessacary to be with/have someone?

I been going out with this one girl that lives 175 miles away from me, we met online, phone and then in person we clicked pretty good and fellin love we been going out for 4 months and it's been up and down the only problem that we have is that she like to talk and hang out with guys and sometimes she keeps somethings that she does with guys becaus eshe thinks i'm going to get mad i told her that if she still wants to have fun that is better to break it off and that way we both don't keep hurting each other or that i'm trying to change her we're both 30 so i think is a good way to settle down and start thinking about the future, she's the one the wanted the relationship from the beggining, but she thinks that everything should be fine at all time regarless of what she's doing or who she's with, i'm willing to give her space and freedom but she's taking that a step too far, I tell her how i feel and she gets very defensive, she says that i dont want her to have any friends.

I am really confused. I am stuck between 2 guys and I really don't know what 2 do. Guy 1 likes me and I obviously like him, but like only. Nothing else can happen b/c he's my friend and I've tried to make a move, but it blew up in my face. Guy 1 has communication problems... as in he doesn't talk about important stuff very much. And it buggs me b/c I want my man 2 talk 2 me about anything. Two yrs now and a year ago he cheated on me, since then he has been very insecure. He tells me that he would rather die then be without me. He would never hurt me again and if he did he would be hurtn him. he has nightmares that I leave him, and he wakes up mad at me. He always calls me at work telling me he loves me and misses me, and then gets upset when I say I have to go. He is so short tempered tho. When we fight it gets violent. I cant stand when he is rude and hurts me and then expects me to forget about it just cuz he sed sorry. He can be very sweet and kind, but when hes not he can be my worst enemy. He doesn’t respect me. he is so controlling and knows how to make me feel like the worst person ever at times. I wanna believe he is sorry but how can someone love me and be my worst enemy at the same time? I love him with all my heart, but I think he is just tryin to convince himself that he loves me when he doesn’t. he drives me crzy/i love him and would die without him!!

There was a bloke on the pull in the pub. Pretty drunk decides to have a go with the fairly plump girl he spies and chats her up.
