I saw this article on a dating website, it says:

"Have you ever noticed that really attractive women never seem to be attracted to 'nice' guys? It's because women don't base their choices of men on how 'nice' a guy is. They choose because they feel a powerful GUT LEVEL ATTRACTION for them. And guess what? Being nice doesn't make a woman FEEL that powerful ATTRACTION. And being NICE doesn't make a woman CHOOSE you. Until you accept this fact and begin to act on it, you'll never have the success with women that you want."

Yes, a guy wrote this article. Personally I think it's a bunch of B.S. but what do you think?

Most of the girls are into guys who are loud, obnoxious, and drinkers. What is wrong with the nice reserved type of guys who aren't party animals?

Have been seperated from boyfriend of about 3 years for a month now. Have been talking to this guy online for about 2 weeks. I like this new guy, he is sweet and he wants us to meet. I have been open with him, and told him I am not ready for a serious relationship because I am just out of a long term relationship. He has been very understanding... I have been talking to my quasi ex the entire time and we haven't entirely ruled out trying our relationship again. But we are free to date other people... should I tell my ex about the date or just keep it to myself? Should I tell the new guy that I am still talking to my ex?

I met a guy through internet and seen him twice, both times rather casual (drinks, hang out in the park etc), and we have a laugh/get along pretty well.

I try to hint that i'm only interested in him as a friend by calling him gay, and encouraging him to go with other girls, and he laughs and takes it pretty well. So i thought we were cool. But then he suggested meeting up again. (and i'm not sure whether he meant meeting as a mate, or as a date)

I don't want to come across too presumptuous/arrogant and just say to him: "by the way i'm not interested in you for a relationship", and i'm finding it difficult to slip into the conversation that i have recently found myself a boyfriend. So how shall i go about it?!!! I don't want to lead him on (that is, if he feels led on?!?!).

Why do people stay in situations knowing that they are physically, mentally, or emotionally detrimental to them? And how do you support a friend who KNOWS they should get out of the situation yet they continue? I have a friend who has been in a "train wreck" for the last four years. He's with a woman who I think is crazy. (Let me just say, I have NO romantic interest in this friend and vice versa). She broke into his house, destroyed everything in it, twice. She tried to stab him with a pair of scissors, the mother of his children had to get a restraining order because of her, (And this was the first two years). Sabotaging his voicemail was so regular he just got rid of it. She's cheated on him at least 4 times. She has even gone so far as to spit in his face. When he does "think" he's fed up with her, he can make it at most two weeks before HE'S begging to see her after SHE s*** on him unless he's waiting on her to get bored with who she's cheating on him with at the time.

Okay... do girls find guys who are nice, funny, sort of musculer, and ready to please you constantly... better than a guy who is a total buttwipe but looks really really good?

I know this guy through my ex. My ex and I dated for a few years. I caught him cheating on me in the apartment we shared. So I ran into this guy who is friends with my ex's friends out one night and we seemed to really hit it off with conversation. We ended up sleeping in the same bed that night, nothing more happened besides the fact of me asking him to put his arm around me, and he warmed my feet with his and played with my hair and we talked a little more. Then fell asleep. The next morning things were weird. He asked to go to breakfast, but I declined, (felt awkward). Now 3 months later, Im still thinking of him. I heard he likes me, but is freaked at the fact he knows my ex. What should I do with this situation?

Is it not time for people to grow up? Been married twice, both times over 7 yrs., w/children whom are grown, and is not embarressed to talk about sex in the past, present, and future. It was just a couple yrs back that i truely for real started ENJOYING sex. Giving AND Receiving. I would like to be respected for who i am instead of what i do. Will i ever find a relationship like that?
