My boyfriend has just told me that he loves me. I'm scared...not that I haven't loved anyone before or anything. It's just that I'm afraid of getting hurt, like all of the previous guys have hurt me. I'll admit that I am falling for him.. but I'm just afraid to say it, cuz I feel like I should protect myself. I don't know what to tell him. Any advice?

ohhkay heres the thing..the guy i love jesse and i went out last summer and we truly fell in love he was my everything and i was his..the thing is we broke up after summer ended thinking id never talk to him again i called him one day and we fell back in love, he asked me back out and we went out for a while. my parents read something about him on his myspace that wasnt true and banned me from seeing him.well it turns out we hid our relationship from my parents for a while and we eventually broke up because we never saw eachother because of my parents. It turns out my bestfriend mark,(also his bestfriend) told me 2 weeks ago that the day after we broke upp jesse slept with some girll in marks bed..im lost i wanna ask jesse if its true cause mark lies alot cause he use to like me..nd i dont think jesse would do that to me...what should i do??i love him but i think he has a girlfriend now..if my parents didnt ban us from eachother would we be together now..??please help!

I mean when I date a girl who tries to play hard to get, it has always been such a massive turn off. Not because it's taking me longer to get anywhere but because she is so obviously being fake, and trying to be manipulative that it just gives me the impression that she is uncomfortable with her self and wouldn’t dare to act natural. I read in my sisters magazine "10 ways to keep a guy interested" and just thought if a girl tried one of these I would dump the B*tch. Simply because NO ONE in their right minds appreciates being played with.

and I am realizing lately, more than ever; how much I still care for him. The thing is, he may be married or in a relationship. I have no way of knowing short of asking. I have thought about him for the past several months and run into him every once in a while in public; we say hi and make small talk. There is a chance that (with communication) we could make it this time, but there is also the same chance that we may not. Should I risk calling his house or writing him and letter and having his wife or girlfriend answer the phone or just let it be? We are both in our forties and have had other relationships in the past few years; not that this may or may not matter. I would appreciate any input.

We are both 18.
She loves me and i think i love her although it may be that im just so use to her and have been with her for over 2 yrs. But we fight alot, moslty cuz she has a huge attitude. i try to stay calm but she keeps naggin till i break. We have cheated both cheated on each other but forgave eachother a bit. She is extremely jelouse also wich is and has really affected me with friends an family. When i think about it, i think we should break up but wen push come to shove i really miss her, and her crying and callin 24-7 doesnt help either(n she is STUBBERN). I dont knou i jus really need some advice cuz i jus found out today that she has been lieng to me alot so i believe this is the chane for me to break up with her.
