How does depression affect a relationship? Do you find it difficult to communicate with the people in your life that you love the most, and find yourself cutting them out of your life? More specifically, have you had to end a relationship because of it, but couldn't bring yourself to communicate any further with that person even if they were offering support and help?? I've found myself in this situation, and don't know what to do to help him. I'm trying to be a friend to him, but he's not very responsive to me and I don't know if I should leave him be or keep offering support and letting him know I am there so he knows that I haven't abandoned him. I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out his unresponsiveness. He doesn't seem to want anything to do with me

I'm in dire need of help/advice!
I have been dating a guy for 4 years and we run a business. The first year was great sex mad (as it always is) then it slowly started to dwindle..i know this is normal, but its maybe half a dozen times a year now. We don't live together. I'm not the shy retiring type, I'm up for trying anything, I'm attractive, look after my appearance and am very loving and affectionate. I always make the first move, which 99.9% of the time is rejected...usually due to tiredness/too stoned or he has fallen alseep..lol
I have not discussed this with anyone as I wouldn't want to hurt him if it somehow got back to him, so I'm trying this as a last resort! ...I have tried everything I can think of...seduction, the don't talk about it approach, the talk about it calmly approach, the go mental and lose the plot approach, I've even tried asking if he is gay/having an affair/or does he want to end it.I dont nag him about it but for gods sake I'm only human..so should i ?

We broke up for like 2 weeks now. I saw him last wed and we talked for almost 4 hours on the phone. But that was the last we are going to talk and see each other. After that, I felt so lonely and sad. I missed him so much that I wanna hug him and kiss him. I really want him back now. But he isn't ready for that yet. He said he's afraid that we will just broke up again and endure the pain all over again. Right now, all I know, is that I want him back. My life felt so empty and meaningless.

Any tips? I really need to get out of this feeling. I don't when he'll be back or if he's really coming back...

I have been with someone for 11 years. He didn't pay any attention to me and I asked him to do things for me because I was lonely. He disregraded all of this and in the process I found someone that is the totally opposite of him and treats me like a queen. I broke it off with the one I was with for 11 years. He is now telling me he can give me all the things I want and is willing to change not for me but for us and he understands now what he has done to me. He asked why he can't have this chance to change and prove to me that this can work. He says that everyone deserves a second chance. I want to give him this chance but am afraid he will resent me down the line or he will go back to the same way he was and I will be unhappy again and may have missed out on the other one that treats me the way someone should be treated. Please give honest advice and only serious answers PLEASE!!!!!!!
