My friend ages ago mentioned a holiday and i jumped at the thort, but knew it would never happen as i have no money.

One day she came round and said her parents are paying for me to go to Florida with them in November for a fortnight.

I still didnt believe this was going to happen (why would someone else's parents pay for me??)

Anyway a long time past and nothing was mentioned and then out the blue, tickets have now been booked really without my knowledge and have booked them under my wrong name - i use a different name to what is on my passport) and i don't know how to tell them that
a) i can't go and
b) i dont really wanna go with her family.

How do i break it to her really gently??

am 18 years old and have known this guy Nick 21 a family friend since i was born we were really close friends till our familys moved but we still saw each other for holidays and birthdays and other things when 8th grade hit for me though i had a crush on him/he liked me and he gave me my first kiss and we kind of started dating when his family moved to same area as mine. We broke up but remained friends we tried dating 4 more times over the time i was in highschool age seemed to seperate us alot and he always wanted to go farther than i was ready. He is a frat guy at NYU known with a reputation with the ladies , likes to party, and has come back yet again i dont think he is my sweet childhood crush anymore but i still have feelings for him?why does he keep coming back?

Its like this.I meet a guy at the carpark one day in ht hospital,he parked his car near mine-&I asked him for directions.He was such as gentlemen,as he wilingly helped carry my heavy basket.I refused at 1st but he said I could help to carry his file.I did,& he let me walk 1st,(he kept insisted as I was not used to that)& we chatted 4 a while and he seems like a considerate&caring person frm d conversation.By now,I know he's dealing with pc in the hospital,that's all.In the end,I went back 2 car and left him a milk drink & thank you note with my no.My no was't obvious& a little effort needed to get the no.2 days late he sms me.we sms a few & later days I saw his car again,I left him 2nd note saying I saw his car,& another milk.He called saying thanks.3rd time,another note and a goody bag-foods.He called again.4th time,I look 4 him,gave 2comics&flower,crafts by me.He's suprise&happy.Am I doing d right thing?he does't seem interested&sometimes no sms reply,though.Wat should I do next?thks

Okay I'm in high shool, and I have some friends that I've know for the 4 years of high school, and I just made alot of new friends this year, and they are totally different. Like my old friends some how put me down, and just compete with my. For example this one time I took a quiz and got a 56 on it, and my friend got like a 90, the teacher said he was gonna let me and who ever failed retake it, tell me why my "friend" started saying that it wasent fair, and so I ended up keeping my 56. The old friends just act like I dont know what. And my new friends seem so nice and cool, that I preffer hanging out with them, and my old friends feel left out and just not loved. I love them, but they get annoying at times, and people tell me that those are not true frinds, they are just good classmates, I'm not mean so I just cant ditch them like they do me. I need advice on how to deal with them.

I am a bit worried about a friend of mine. She was diagnosed 3 mnths ago, as being HIV positive. She said that as her CD count was over 1200 she didnt have to have any treatment. I would have thought, that they would have started her on ARV immediately, so that she didnt get worse. I am not too clued up on this subject. Please help.

I cant remember her last name. She is 24 now from Birkenhead, all I know is that she went to Upton Convent (or what used to be Upton Convent) she lived by Kingsmead Road with her family, one brother and one sister, and her dad used to drive a blue van as part of his job. Ok, I have a best friend, who I've been friends with for five years. Today I was talking with her on the internet and I could tell that she was distracted by the phone, so I said "I gotta go" and surprisingly at first shes like "ok," then I said "ok" and then like two minutes later she says,"why?" and all I said was "because I can tell you're distracted by the phone, just talk to me later", and then she got all mad at me saying," so you were leaving me for nothing!!,"...I don't think it's unreasonable to tell your friend to just talk to you when they're not distracted....so then she told me to hold on and then she came back....I started talking to her again, she gave me one response and then all of a sudden she just wasn't answering anymore. I know it was some kind of revenge because she was posting bulletins on myspace, and on one of them she was talking about how cool one of her other friends are. This was last night, I've been IMing her and she's not answering me. What should I do?
