The Goldfish Bowl

Come with me to a third grade classroom...

There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of a
sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his
pants are wet. He thinks his heart is going to stop because he
cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It's never
happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he
will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they'll
never speak to him again as long as he lives. The boy believes
his heart is going to stop, he puts his head down and prays --
"Dear God, this is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes
from now I'm dead meat."

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a
look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a classmate named Susie is
carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water. Susie trips
in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water
in the boy's lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is saying to
himself, "Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!"

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule,
the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him
downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants
dry out. All the other children are on their hands and knees
cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful. But as
life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has
been transferred to someone else - Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out. "You've done
enough, you klutz!" Finally, at the end of the day, as they are
waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers,
"You did that on purpose, didn't you?"

Susie whispers back, "I wet my pants once too."

the problem started about a month back.i start to lose respect for my friends and doesn't provide support for them as i did in the past.as a result,i am losing touch with my close friends and doesn't feel close to them.any ideas how would i undo it?

I have this guy friend who seems to me to be gay, he shops like a girl but he does have 6 sister he grew up with. He likes to shop at the bannana and express for men. He always looks classy and he bought a 300.00 pair of eel skin shoes. He likes music that is techno, madonna, classical, or music themes from movies such as Devil wears prada or something like that. Is he gay or metro?

I sleep from 12:30am until 6:30am. 6 hours, then i send my kids off too school.At 8am till 11am i take an 2 hour nap to complete my 8 hours.
i don't know if u undestand what i'm trying to say, but is it bad not too sleep 8 hours straight , is it possible to make up for lost sleep?
how many hours a night do u get sleep and how doesthat make u feel?

and hes two years older than me. hes one of my best friends really close family friends (they consider each other cousins). hes funny and i think hes cute. trust me, nothing would ever, ever happen. but i still kind of like him, and i know because i joke around with him too much (what i do w/ guys i ike unintentionally). what should i do??
should i just leave it at that and let myself get a little excited when i go over to her house and see him or around school? god this sucks.

I am 26( Look 18 ) and I have an 8 yr. old son. I find it very difficult to meet other moms b/c of my age.
We have recently moved and I feel it is impossible to get my son a play date b/c the other moms are atleast 10 yrs. older than me and look down on me. I am sure that some of my problem is insecurity, but I don't have anything in common with them and they exclude me at birthday parties and school functions. I just want to fit in so that my sons' friends at school can come over and play. And I can have a friend as well.

i loved a girl. who i think is the best girl in this word,but she was not inerested in having a love afair with me.but she said that will be friend.

Last week my family attended a family gathering out of down, while there I went to another family member house to pick up some kitchenware and there was this older gentlemen in the flat below that asked if we needed any help bringing the kitchenware up. I told him yes, he asked where we were from and I told him Detroit and he told me he had a son there that was a policeman and if yur every in trouble give him a call. We left, and when I got back to my relative house I was staying with she had the man number and she said he want to make sure I give his son a call. i met this guy and i really really like him a lot but i don't know if he likes me back. my best friend said that he for sure does which made me feel better but later on she said that she wanted to meet him because she has to give him her "seal of approval." so we all went to an amusement park together but then i realized that she's a reckless flirt and he's a likeable hottie and she's gorgeous so she's totally gonna take him away from me!! just as i predicted, they flirted the whole day and were even walking around arm in arm. i couldn't belive it!!! she knows that i like him!!! i want him to like ME, not this super-model wannabe!! a few days later after we got back from the park, my "best" friend confessed that she fell in love with this guy and they exchanged screen names and they talk all the time!! why would she tell me that she thinks he likes me and then go and flirt with him like that??? its not fair!!! now he'll never look twice at me again!! then a friend jokingly tells me to sit down

and she comes out of nowhere and jokes about it too.

then same friend drops a book

i jokingly struggle to pick it up and she jokes with me again saying that she appreciates my effort
