i met this guy and i really really like him a lot but i don't know if he likes me back. my best friend said that he for sure does which made me feel better but later on she said that she wanted to meet him because she has to give him her "seal of approval." so we all went to an amusement park together but then i realized that she's a reckless flirt and he's a likeable hottie and she's gorgeous so she's totally gonna take him away from me!! just as i predicted, they flirted the whole day and were even walking around arm in arm. i couldn't belive it!!! she knows that i like him!!! i want him to like ME, not this super-model wannabe!! a few days later after we got back from the park, my "best" friend confessed that she fell in love with this guy and they exchanged screen names and they talk all the time!! why would she tell me that she thinks he likes me and then go and flirt with him like that??? its not fair!!! now he'll never look twice at me again!! WHAT AM I GONNA DO?!?!?!?!?

first of all some people love to have what someone else has or wants i see my sister and her sisterin law always competeing to be the best or having the better that others she set u up so she could make the plays maybe he thought you was hot and she talked to him behind your back and told him you weren't interested so when she made the plays for him he took the bait only one way to find out talk to him alone away from her go to his house for a visit or call when you know she wont be there or something and some friends love to sabatoge another girls lives cause they are jealous so apparently you are the prettier one or she would have really given you the chance without making the play for him first and second of all sheeee issss nottttt yourrrrr friendddddd if she does that to you a lesson lived is a lesson learned i believe i would find anew friend....good luck

My "Best" friend did that to me too. I wanted to kill her, she made me feel like anything I did was a competition. I started to tell her that I liked a certain guy just to see if she would flirt with him. She ended up dumping the guy I actually liked and then dating the other guy I told her I liked. It was completelly predictable. She did this about 4 times before I confronted her and then dumped her as a friend. Even though that's been a while since this happened, it still makes me mad to think about it.

I hate friends like that my best friend is liek that to she went out with a guy i was inlove with just cause she was mad at me well now me and him are together. well what i did was pretend i didnt want him anymore and she dumped him then i went in for the kill and now we have a baby together and we are doing good and he hates her :) .... but she has wanted every guy i ever liked so i told her i liked this reaelly nast guy and she actully went out with him just make it convincing that you dont want him they may go out but it will not be for long you'll see
then get your revenge by pretending to like a really ugly guy then she'll take him and you can have your hottie

First of all she is not your friend. If she would do something like that you need to cut off your friendship with her. And any boy that would pick her over you is not a boy you want after all so cry, get over it, and then move on without either of them in your life

fist thing I would do is stop calling this person your friend,because a friend would not do that to another friend.
2nd thing i would do is forget about this guy,obviously he wasn't the right one for you,there is someone better out there for you.

id smack her out, she bloody deserves it, she is sooooo not your friend, but i guess you already worked that out. my advise is to cut your losses and move on from them both, it will only end in tears, yours!
