i had this best friend n v used to get along really well. about a month back, i told him abt the person i loved n after somtime me n tht person got hooked n my best friend dosent knw abt this. problem is as soon as i told my bestfriend about this, he stopped talking to me. he started acting wierd. i told this to my boyfriend n another friend of mine n both of them think that this guy has the hots for me. i even talked to my bestfriends friend n he told me that he dosent sleep or eat nowadays n is really depressed. his grades r also falling drastically. i desperately want to talk to him coz he was once my closest friend n i like him a lot. but hes just not ready to listen to me. what do i do?

me and my x got a serious misunderstanding few weeks ago. we fought over the phone and hung me up everytime i contacted. i got disappointed and really hurt but i insist of looking for the posibilities that we are going to be fine again soon,however my hopes hung me up when i talked to him just few hours ago when he finally said that his tired of me already... i still love him more than any body else but i dont want to live for nothing. I have a friend who I love very much , but he does not want a relathionship with any women at the moment, he keeps on findings problems with me, he judges me on everything, and there is always small things wrong with me, but if any women trys to come between us he tells me and stops writing or talking to her so as not to hurt me at all, he tells me everything , do You think that he tries to dyne his love for me by telling everyone I am not his type but deep down he does love me? Is this a way of leeding with his fustration of trying to run away from something he is not prepared to face? What should I do to get this guy to love me and accept me? He comes and goes always saying he is my friend, but he keeps on talking about me to everyone and saying I must always trust him he is very honest, help me what should I do? to get him to accept me, I stay away from him for a few weeks but he keep on coming back

A coworker of mine has 2 grown children. Last night I saw them out together and started joking around with the coworker's son. Her daughter called and told her what was going on without me knowing about it. Later I decided to call my coworker and joke with her about it. She told me she knows, her daughter already called her 4 times and told her everything and we got a big laugh about it. I noticed while her children were out together, they kept an eye on one other in a protective manner. Do you think she did a good job raising her kids? I do, I want my kids to grow up and be like hers. Am I wrong for feeling that way?

People younger/the same age constantly use terms like “hun” and “sweetie” etc.? I mean yeah, I’ll call my girls things like that if I’m joking around. But with people I don’t know well use them, it just bothers me... and quite a bit of the time I feel as though most of the people who use those terms with me are trying to be condescending because they have something against me (not that I always know that... I just get the “feeling” like I said...) or are in someway trying to prove they are above me.
Haha but I’m probably a freak... but to me it’s like, ok I’m not a child, we are both adults...
-oh and don’t get me wrong, I most definitely think some people say things like that will no rude intentions and mean it in a purely affectionate way... I’m just talking about the “other” people..lol.
Can anyone relate, or am I alone on this one?

my female friends don't like me because all the guys in the group give me more attention. they always compliment me but hardly ever compliment any of them. but the reason they do that is because those girls sit and talk abt the most useless, mundane, meaningless, girly-girly crap known to mankind and i DONT! so therefore, the guys feel like i'm the only girl they can have an intelligent conversation with! almost all the guys in our group have asked me out, but i've only gone out with one of them- so the girls hate me because of that too!
i'm probably AS or even MORE feminine than these girls but i just don't publicise it!
the girls always sit and talk abt how fat they feel and keep picking their flaws and even if one of our (girl) friends is wearing an awful item of clothing they all go on abt how great it looks- if i'm asked, i HONESTLY say that it doesn't suit them! i much rather be honest than be fake! i mean wut happened to the whole honesty is the best policy motto?

why do middle age (35-45) yro blacks where basketball clothes around. i was at my girl friends summer work party everybody's dressed classy and there this one black thats looks like he thinks he's on the north carliona basketball or at least trying he was over weight and sloppy looking too. the guy looked rediculous and we laughed our *** off over it on the way home. i was just wondering why they like to make an *** out of themselves, plus he was eating a banana from the fruit dish to top it off!!
