Well, it sound more like you are having trouble accommodating him than not liking him. Sometimes it is easier to keep a guy as a friend so that you can hang out without having to carve out solo time. Let him know that right now you really enjoy spending time with your girlfriend. Tell him what you do when you hang out with her and that you have to choose what to do with your time because you only have so much free time. Let him know that you like when you get to talk with him, and maybe you could agree to connect over the phone on a Thursday night or evenings at 8 or whatever....if your close friend is jealous of this guy you might want to let her know that you will be there for her even if you do have other people in your life. Can't shut everyone out just because of her. It's not reality. So just be cool and spend time with all the people who care about you, that is what life is for.

Just be honest and tell this guy that your relationship with him has become a problem and you need to end the friendship. Explain to him that you would rather not go into details but you have decided that it would be best if the two of you parted company.

Tell him exactly what you just said. Right now you feel that the most important thing in your life is your friendship. Tell him that you felt like he was coming between you and your friends and you just couldnt take it. Just be totally honest with him, anything less the honesty is a lie.

Just be honest and tell him!!
You are close friends. I have seen my close friends through thick and thin and would tell her anything.
Just put it in a way that does not hurt him, and just explain well enough for him to understand. Its only normal to feel like this, and trust me you will feel better once you have sorted it out.
So get out there - and what have you got to lose.
Good Luck!!

Remember men are not particularly effective at picking up subtle hints. Be blunt and straight to the point. You are going to hurt his feelings but that is the best thing to do as anything else is a lie and open to misinterpretation.

The best thing you can do is be straight out to the point, and tell him how you feel about the relationship. He will accept it or he won't , that's something he has to deal with. Just be hounest it's the best thing anyone can do.
