My friends birthday is coming up and she wants to go out. On my birthday she didn't show up until the last ten minutes of the outing and then went home. Her reason was because their was one of my guest she didn't like and that's why she wasn't coming. I was really hurt by this because I felt she should have come regardless if she didn't like the guest. I was just wondering if I should do her the same way or be the bigger person and go? Any advise?

In a few months ( as soon as I get my visa), hopefully before Xmas, I'm moving to Phoenix , AZ, to live with my fiance. I don't know anyone besides him there. What is the best way to make friends and create a new network of friends.
I'm 30yrs. In some ways I know that our cultures differ, I'm dutch, I think I need to learn new ways, which may be more American? Pleas this is a serious question, so also a serious answer. Don't want to be depending all on him to entertain me. :)

we have been best friends for 15yrs we get along so so well we laugh cry go places and can talk about anything well i told her how i felt yrs ago about how i fell in love with her and can't get her off my mind we have been with someone else for yrs off and on they are both out of town and have been she is the only bf i have in town i have and the same for her well when i told her how i felt she did'nt want to hear of it that we are only friends but she has been giving me signs like she'll say certain love songs are our songs and she puts her arm&hand close to mines like she wants to hold my hand when n the car she has been wanting to give me hugs more when i drop her off and starrs at me with love in her eyes and the world stops she has made gestures that she needs to be kissed by someone well i was supose to move 2 weeks ago and didn't cause of her and other reasons she was so glad and said she would be lost without me we do just about everything together and are hapy is sh n lv wth m

I have 2 roommates one is my cousin and the other I don't really know. They are good roommates but they can't keep the room clean, and at night when i am trying to sleep they keep talking or turn thier music up really loud. How can I get them to stop without actually coming out and telling them to start cleaning better and to be quiet? I don't want to make anyone mad.

well my best friends 16(who tell me everything)really like this boy 18(we both talk to this boi but i just really good friends and he open up to me alot about how he feel about her he just finds her dumb at times and that she easy to influnce and lie to and that he cant take her serious he just playing games with her)but the boi has a baby with other girl and she knows that but she still want to be with this boi and have a baby with him she believes that she can be the step mother of his other kids and everything. And she really loves this boi and she only has know him for three months and still has not see him yet there just chat on the fone and everytime they meant to see each other he just stand her up. Should i tell her the truth about all the things he been saying about her or should i just leave her to find out coz i dont want her to attempt an overdose like what she did b4 because she didnt see the boy

At the moment, i would just like to go out with him on a romantic level - not a "just friends" level.
When we talk, and something that implies that i like him or he likes me comes up, we both just laugh it off...

Also, my friend asked him if he has feelings for me - his reaction is hard to understand because we cant tell if he was being serious or patronising;
he laughed (seemed kind of fake) and then said yes (might be sarcasm), but we dont know whether he was just trying to hide his real feelings or if he was joking.

What else can i do to find out? What signs should i look for? And what do you think?
