first of all be very sure that he has a brother or a friend that really needs a operation, people will do any thing to get a free buck. and then give him what you can afford to give him. there are programs out there to help people with operations and therefore i have a wierd feeling about this one. but i think you are the sweetest thing even considering giving a person in need a hand i hope you never lose that giving heart. and may you always prosper and be healthy.

That should be fine. You might also want to set up a direct deposit so that you can periodically send him that amount as your income increases. I can hardly wait to hear how much you will give to strangers when you are past the stage of "dont hav too much money." I bet Bill Gates will be quaking about his philanthropic record once you get rolling.

Why do you feel compelled to give the money to someone you havent even met? Is it something that the company is doing to help that person? If thats the case, spare how much you think is reasonable.
You mentioned that you have not even met him then how can he ask you for money??

ONLY IF you can afford to GIVE him the money with NO expectations of repayment...for you probably will not be repaid. Human nature can be expensive. Oh, and one more thing, as soon as you give him the money, do not expect to see much of him again...people become embarrassed that they are not going to repay, so they avoid the kind person who lent them the money. Good luck

If he asked you than go ahead, give him some. One of my friends needed money twice and I gave to him what I could. It hasn't ruined our friendship. We're still really close.
I don't expect him to pay me back too quickly b/c he doesn't have alot of money (college student) so when he can, he said he'll pay me back and I trust him to that.
