Friends - September 2006

We were really close pals for over 10years. He however often wanted more (proposed many times). Then I got pregnant by someone else and I never heard from him again.

He's married now to his old boss - the one he fobbed off for years.

We mis-spent our youth together though and by far he was the funniest and brightest man I have known - yet to me he was always like a brother..

Anyways - I am seeing a lovely bloke now who I think is threatened that I miss my old pal but I can't help feeling sadness we ain't pals any more..

my friends are starting to leave me out on stuff. and what usually would be funny to us is now just stupid to them, and when i laugh, they all say how emature i am, but im way more mature then they are & i know that for a fact. they are the best friends i've ever had, and even if i wanted to leave them, there's no one really i can go to. my best friend likes a girl she used to hate(and someone I STILL HATE) and now i have no one to turn to when i need a friend. *help please?* they also told me i could go to the fall fair but then when i called, i found out they had already left, with out me. =( i feel terrible

See there's these girls, who we'll call Sam and Pam (Creative I know). So me and my friend hate these girls, but because i recently started a new school year and Sam is on my bus, and Pam eats lunch around me, because of this I was able to get some JUICY gossip about them, technically it's just stuff I witnessed them doing that my friend would get a kick out of because she's currently at a different school. I'm DYING to tell her, or tell anyone! But then again i promised not to gossip anymore, so should I just confide in my best friend or take it to the grave.

Isn’t it funny how your life changes instantly?

It’s funny how life changes in seconds just when you think you have it all figured out something new happens…Weird

Friends that say they are your best friend let out little secrets and TRY to ruin your life…

Alot of stress comes off your back when you stop being friends with this person, and the drama stops!

Isn't it hard being the bigger person and not saying something? Do you think it works?
What have you all done when you did nothing wrong…. when losing a friend?

I work as a registered nurse in a hospital. About 16 months ago a new nurse started work with us. From day one all we heard was how she couldn't afford this for her kids or that for her kids. That her husband had passed away, and left her in debt. My best friend and I have collected donatetions for her kids birthdays, Christmas and lately back to school items. My best friend and I went to pick up our pay checks today, and this women drives up in a brand new Corvette. Wouldn't say to words to use, and left. We couldn't figure out what the heck was going on. The new radiologist told us he had worked with her at a different hospital and that she has always pulled the same I am broke bit. Her husband is not dead they have been legally seperated for years and he pays her $5800.00 a month in child support and maintance. I wanted to go and tell her off. My friend and I feel so stupid. What would you do? We not only used our money for her kids but other people hard earned money. Please help.

I kno this is a stupid teen question lol. But i dont kno wut to do ive been given the choice to move in with my brother and I DEFINETLY wanna move in with him and my sister in law but then ill miss all my friends :( BUT then again they can b REALLY obnoxious, i dont kno y im saying they its only my bf (best friend) and my other friend. I just feel like they dont respect me or my other friends so yeah. They dont even kno how much i go thru!!!! i mean i dont have a mom and the reletionship b tween me and my family sux!!!!!!!! So this birthday gift is for my best friend...!She is a girl and she is turning 17 in October!
I wanted to get her an airoplane ticket to France...but then i have to take one in order for us to go together ...and i need...2,000 pounds...all expenses paid..which is A LOT..so no way!!!

I need anybody's advice...Guy or girl....I have this friend and she has a friend that she's known for her whole life...OK..Well they dated in 6th grade for a couple of weeks...And after they broke up and he said he didn't want a gf right then so she said ok that's fine with her but she still had feelings for this guy...So the rest of middle school years he never talked to her much....He drifted away from her....Now he's not even looking at her or talking to her...I mean she dresses just for him but he just ignores her I guess...that's what she feels....Well see today at school she was behind him in the car going to school and when he got out he walked up the steps...HE never walks up the steps when she's up there....So does that mean he's ignoring her, doesn't want anything to do with her, or what!?!?! She feels like he doesn't want anything to do with her.....She's scared of loosing her best friend...and All she's wanting is to be best friends again and maybe to start to like him again but he not hurt her.....So if you have anything to say plz do! It will help her a lot if I get anything...

OKAY, crazy situation:

1) My crush is dating my best friend
2) I am stuck with our other friend, he's kinda cute but I'm not all over him or anything
3) I think my crush and my BFF are mad a me a bit because they know I like him (my crush),
4) But they still tell me I am popular.
5) I've never been "popular" before, but now my popularity is off the scale.
6) What is wrong with my life?

Today, was the worst day of my life. I am 13 and I am in high school. For some reason i get made fun of because im supposedly short, when i'm actually young. There are 14, and 15 year olds in my grade. Today in class, I got picked on by basically ever guy when it was the guys against girls. They kept making fun of me, and threw stuff at me. I felt like crying but I held it in. I went to my guidance counselor and she said she can't switch me out. I feel horrible. NOBODY out of all of the boys even helped me. They just all laughed. I never said ANYTHING to these boys. Please help me!

Ok, my friend has a neighbor who she likes and they're friends and everything. But the thing is that he does some serious drugs, and now my friend is doing them. She just told me today that she smoked weed and now feels like ****. I got really pissed at her when she tols me she tried coke. She's doing this all because of a boy. My bestfriend nd I hav been bestfrends for about 3 years now, and ive known her for 5. weve been doin great, but latley shes been actin funny. she dosent want me to have other friends but her, and she gets extremely mad when i hang wit her sister. we used to fite about it but we would make up in the same day now she goes weeks witout talkin to me. recently we were in the same situation and now she wont speak to me. i tell her alot that i would never replace her, especially wit her sister, and weve talked about it. usually i dont pay her any mind cuz she eventually gets over it, but this time shes really serious. like she just completely erased me from her life basically. like all becuz i talked to her sister online. she dosent want to be bestfrends. and it hurts cause its not like i was wit her sister and not her. i was wit of them both. i wanna know if i shuld wait nd see if she comes around or if i should jus erase her out my life like she did me( p.s imma girl also )
