This girl at school thinks I'm her good friend, and along with my group, she doesn't have anyone else (small school). None of my friends like her either, but we don't know the best way to help her. She's very needy, insecure, and not at all confident. She needs to back away for a while and become a bit more independent; what's the best way for us to push her in this direction without hurting her?

I've started 6th grade. (finally!) It started on September 6th (a little ironic) and there were 13 new kids. 13!!! So anyway, it's been a little tough. There's a girl with the same name as me, so I have to keep asking, 'which one? which Carly?' THANK GOD we spell it differently. my biggest problem is that one of the new boys already asked me out (or something along those lines). Help?

first of all i am 15 and while at school ther was a sharp metal pole from some constuction that had been going on a while ago and i fell on it when using it as a goal post in football it went very deep into my back and ended up fainting from the pain a couple of weeks later or so i returned back to school and now most of the girls are always talking to me even flirting sometimes, this has went on for nearly 4-5 months now and i am confused why, it carnt be curiosity as they no everythink thats to no about what happened and why suddenly become interested in me just because of this, i like the attension and all but i carnt help but wonder why people havent moved on about it yet so please could any one gave me any ideas as i am so confused?

There's a guy I like that I've been trying to strike up a friendship through email. We were in a play together, and for a while we had a nice little email exchange going after the show was over, at least once a week we would email each other. All of a sudden it stopped and I haven't heard from him in almost a month. In the last email I sent him before he stopped responding I basically told him I went home on vacation to visit my family and asked him where he grew up. I emailed a few weeks later, saying I hoped I didn't say anything to annoy him. Still no response. Does he think I'm stalking or spamming him? Does he not have the courage or the common courtesy to tell me if I did something to upset him? Should I keep trying to establish contact or just give up on him?

My best friend, who I've know since 5th grade is starting to make me feel wierd. I'm starting to like her as more than a friend. I've liked her for a while but not this much. I truly believe in my heart, that everybody should be loved, and yes, I know, "sometimes" we can do,and say some nasty,and terrible things, and act awfully ugly to each other, But I also believe that we can hate the evil deeds, but love enough to forgive the person/s, and think about the fact that no one is perfect,Thats why Jesus died for the whole world, (not just a few) "all"of us need forgiveness, because we`ve all done, (or may be still doing) something, we`re probably sorry for,or ashamed of. We can all improve and do better, I Know I haven`t made it to Heaven yet. and while I`m here I want to do good, and show love to as many people as the Good Lord permit me to. I don`t want to be sooo "Heaven ward bound, that I`m no earthly good". lolololol. Now I don`t exspect a lot of endorsements on the way I feel, but at least I`ve expressed the Love God has given to each of us to share.

i have been friends with this guy in my class. we used to talk about everything, from the war in iraq, to some one's hair ribbon. he was a great friend. he asked me out in june, and i said i'd think about it and get back 2 him. the next day, before i had given him my anwser, i got a call from a close friend, she said that "Nick said you and he were going out?" i told her that i wasnt, because we werent. i whent to another friend's play, and all about 5 girls from homeroom were there. they all asked me, and i told them no.
i never got to talk to him about it. When i did he didn't seem mad, just confused. Now we're back in school. the entire grade knows about it, and i just want it back to normal.
i havn't had a full conversation with him since i asked him about it.
DOES HE HATE ME? Will he ever be back to being my friend?

My neighbor told me that her daughter was not allowed to play at my house because I had lots of get togethers and she figured there was alcohol and drugs. I told her that there was no drug use but that my husband did have an occasional beer. Then i asked her why she was concerned with what was going on in my yard if there were not children around. Especially her children!! She goes to a church that they do not believe in drinking and that is her choice, but I feel like she is sticking her nose where it doesnt belong. Is this a nosey neighbor?

My friend is USUALLY very nice, but when I go over to her house, things go.... uggh. She is spoiled and brags about whatever she gets. She gets things that amount to over $50 just for cleaning her room. That's not the worst part. When I sleep over there, she won't share anything with me. ANYTHING. Sometimes she thinks she needs sleep and won't even sleep in the same room as me. And yes, she has gotten a lot of sleep the night before. She LITERALLY thinks the whole world TOTALLY revolves around her. I could go on for a week on how rude, spoiled, and selfish she is. SHE ALSO BETRAYED ME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I stay around her because she is fun and usually nice at school. I want to end this though. It isn't a real friendship, and I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!! She has been my friend for years. What can I do that DOESN'T HURT HER FEELINGS???? I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!
