i have been friends with this guy in my class. we used to talk about everything, from the war in iraq, to some one's hair ribbon. he was a great friend. he asked me out in june, and i said i'd think about it and get back 2 him. the next day, before i had given him my anwser, i got a call from a close friend, she said that "Nick said you and he were going out?" i told her that i wasnt, because we werent. i whent to another friend's play, and all about 5 girls from homeroom were there. they all asked me, and i told them no.
i never got to talk to him about it. When i did he didn't seem mad, just confused. Now we're back in school. the entire grade knows about it, and i just want it back to normal.
i havn't had a full conversation with him since i asked him about it.
DOES HE HATE ME? Will he ever be back to being my friend?

Yes he hates you and maybe wants to kill you. I would watch my back if i was you from him. Just kidding. No that would be childish if he is mad at you.

He has no right to hate you, you told him that you would get back to him, on your answer. He took it upon himself, to run around and tell everybody, you two were an item, before he even knew what your answer would be. I would have responded to people, just like you did, by saying no, you're not together. It was very disrespectful of him to assume that your answer would be yes, he caused his own embarrassment, not you and don't you dare feel an ounce of guilt, you did nothing wrong. If he would have kept his mouth shut and waited for your answer, he wouldn't be in the predicament, that he's in. If he's mad at you, so what, he'll get over it. In this situation, you are the only one, that has the right to be mad, not him. If he's going to let this incident come between your friendship, then he never was a true friend at all. When you see him, continue to speak as usual, if he cops an attitude, it's only because he knows he embarrassed himself. If his attitude continues, don't say another word to him, I guarantee you, he'll come around, after he realizes how foolish he's being. Hold your head up high, you did nothing wrong.

if anything u should prob be hating him for telling everyone, but i'm sure that its hard for you to just drop him like that after so long of being friends with him. maybe ask him why he did that. its prob because he was excited that you said you'd think about it so he told one person who told another person and it just got around somehow. he still shouldn't have said that. you MUST talk to him otherwise you'll get nowhere in keeping up your friendship. good luck!!

Probably not, he's feeling embarrassed about it. he thought you were going to say yes and got excited and went and told everybody about it and then he faced reality when it made you mad! Just give it time and call him. Don't confront him in school because he might have some nasty things to say, and you don't want that around school either!

I had 2 great friends like that. Same situation, basically. One hasn't talked to me for 2 years, since I said no. They other hasn't talked to me for 3 months, since I said no. Boys have pride, and when you break it, even if it's gently, they're too embarrassed to patch things up.

You have to talk to him that's the only way you'll know.
Do you want to go out with him? If so let him know...If not just tell him you want to be friends and that it's really important to you.

I don't know. If you just want him as a friend, tell him you are sorry that you didn't get back to him and tell him how you feel. If he wants a friendship, he'll pursue it. If not, you'll just have to deal with it.

He is more embarrassed then mad at you. He sounds like he really likes you so be honest and tell him how he stands, friend or boyfriend.

If he was telling everyone you were his girl then he must really like you...........awww....and if you have a great friendship (which is most important) then talk to him and make it official ~ Wait how old are you ???
