You can't be more like her because you aren't her. You are you, and that's just as good as what she is. What you need to do is regain confidence in yourself. The older I've gotten, the more I've realized that all those "smart" people that we'd envy for their intelligence, weren't all that smart at all. Sure they may know some things better than others, but that's no sign of intelligence.

You have to realize that you are quite smart enough. None else is better than you. They may have ended up a little luckier, but we've all got to run with what we're given. Don't let the rest of the world put you down. But even more than that, don't let yourself pull you down. And she isn't perfect. She may just look it from where you're standing, but chances are she has most of the problems you're having. She just may have gotten some advice on how to deal with them a little earlier.

Go gettem tiger :)

Nobody is perfect, and you will never get anywhere trying to be like somebody else, you need to find out who you are and what makes you happy and you need to learn to get an I don't give a **** kind of attitude, as in I don't give a **** what people think about me. I'm happy with myself. Instead of comparing yourself to your friend start looking at the good things about you. Yes it's good to be resposible and smart an all of that, but, how much fun does your friend have? I'd rather have fun than be perfect. What you need to learn to do is do the best that you can do. You also need to remember that you and your friend are 2 different people. Does your friend have the same parents you do? Is it possible that her parents have molded her to be that way since she was born? You cannot compare yourself to anyone else. No matter what there are going to be varying factors in your life that make you different. What you need to remember is that no one is perfect. You know, when I was in 6th grade my parents move to a new town. I had prblems making friends there, but the one friend I did make was perfect. I mean she made straight A's, always helped her parents clean the house and stuff, never did anything wrong. She got married to the 1st guy she was ever with, and still is married to this day. But now, she's not allowed to talk to me. Her husband won't let her. She gets the **** knocked out of her in front of her 2 children on a daily basis. She tries to hide it from everyone, but it happens. It's not always good to do whats expected of you. Sometimes it's better to just be yourself and be the best you can be.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. You may be the most beautiful girl in the world or you may not. Either way, someone will think your beautiful and someone will not. And your friend isn't perfect, no one is. But there is a saying,"Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land on a star." Plus most poeple who are"smart" aren't. They just work hard and that reslults in a good grade. If you put a little bit more effort in school and maybe less in guys, it would probably show on your tests. It also depends on what grade your in, how old you are, so on so forth. If you want to talk IM me at: acidicrage2006@yahoo.com

You can't because that's not who YOU are. And besides, everyone's right in saying nobody's perfect. Maybe she thinks you're perfect. It takes all kinds to make the world go round, and not everyone has the same perception of "perfect". There are plenty of people out there who I'm sure would find you "perfect". Relax, be yourself.

You striving to be her is the problem. Instead of focusing on her, focus on how to improve your life but not according to hers. Find things that you enjoy doing, workout, eat healthier. Self-esteem is very important and you need to think highly of yourself. You thinking your friend is perfect is a perception. I'm sure she has flaws you never see and problems you may not even know about. being smart is important but sometimes even that's not enough to be happy. Be yourself! People will love you for it and in time, who knows, she may be the envious one?!

Don't be like her. Be the best version of yourself - if you're just yourself people notice it and like you more for it. Find out what makes you happy and then do that - join a club or go to a class or something that is you and different.

Friend envy will mess with your head.

Be yourself, You will never chase enough cos out there there are tonnes of smarter and prettier girls. So how long do you wish to persue cos it is never ending. You have just come across one and it is now bothering you. There are lot more to come by. So your entire life would be bothered all the way. So choose your path --- to be bothered for your entire life or be contented about your own assests ?? the choice is yours.....

Honey, she isn't perfect--NOBODY is. She just hides her issues better than most. Just be the best YOU that you can be, because that's why you were born!
