there's this girl in my class and she really hates me. we used to be friends but i forgot to get her a birthday present and now she hates my. should we be friends again?

First of all, she was never a friend, if she hated you simply because you never gave her a present, then thats not cool at all, maybe it was something else and you just dont know?!.
I would try talking to her about it, and finding out what her problem really is, and if it is just because of a stupid present, you dont need that kind of a person anyways! a true friend wouldnt hate you because you forgot something especially not a present.

She's mad because you forgot her birthday? That sounds rather materialistic, doesn't it? It's like she's saying "If you don't buy me something then I don't want you to be my friend."
You can be friends again but don't forget her birthday again or you'll be experiencing the same thing.

a birthday present shouldnt ruin a friendship. let her know its not about the material things. talk to her about that situation. maybe you could become friends again.

Magic 8 ball says yes. Just have an aloof attitude that says, "you still trippin about that?" Just give her a present, and say your sorry. no biggie. but if she continues to trip, forget her. obviously by her pouting hate, she's just a whining child, and no one wants a friend like that.

no, if she truly hates you over something so petty, you're better off without her. if shes just a bit miffy cuz it hurt her feelings, try to make it up with a nice gesture.
