I'm 21 years of age female and has a 28 year old female friend. She does not always makes wise choices. She weighs about 215 pounds, goes to this one bar about once a week in our neighborhood and drinks heavily. She also picks up old men who are like in their 50-60's and she buys them drinks or buys them cigrattes. She french kisses some of these men when they thank her for buying them the drinks or cigrattes. Also, another thing that really concerns me is once I was with her she and this 50-60 year old guy went to the mens restroom for a couple of mintues. After this, I decided not to go to the bar with her anymore because I was embarrassed at her behavior and for my personal safety and wellbeing. She also has astma. I really want to mentor and a be a friend to her but, I do not know if I can help her in the long run. Her parents do not do anything they in fact encourage her behavior by driving her to the bar. She does not drive. What should I do confront her if so, will it help?

All of the little kids on our street are allowed to play outside on the street and at other peoples houses without supervision, their ages range from 4 to 10, I can understand the 10 year old, but my kids are 4 and 6 and I don't think they are old enough to be left unsupervised for so long...is it just me, or are these other parents just way to lax? We live in a brand new upper middle class subdivision, so it's relatively safe I suppose, but our street is not a cul-de-sac, and I can't see the kids unless they stay right infront of the house, these other kids seem to just go where they please...Am I just too overprotective?

I am 17 and not in school, and have just moved to a new town. I want to get a job to meet new people. I was figuring working at a fastfood restaurant(Burger King,McDonalds,Wendy's etc) to meet people around my age. My question is if anyone here around age 17-22 has met friends working at a fast food restaurant. I have certain "interests" that I think I will find I have in common with the typical fast food worker. Thank you :)

i dont get it its too noisy, dangerous,and just too weird everyone thinks that people from small owns are dumb rednecks well were rednecks but were no dumb and........in big cities theres no connection between families and like no farms, horses and its too weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I've known my best friend for a few years now. ever since I was little, I've known I was gay, but he isn't. This is an issue. Do I tell him. Should I try to convince him anyway? Is it posssible to get a straight man to fall in love with you, and if so, then how do I do it. I can't even breathe when I'm around this guy. He is perfect. There is another problem. He's in a relationship. I don't want to hurt her, but I think I make her jealous. I've wanted to die for a while now, and I'm afraid he might give me the wrong answer. i live with my grandparents with my 2 kids. a girl whos 2 and a boy thats 9 months. well im 8 months pregnant and me and my husband are trying to get moved back in together. the problem is they have been buying the diapers and things they need because whatever money he does get he spends on pop and such. they dont have the money and my doctor told me not to work due to high pregnancy. they put him down and it hurts. i have confronted them and said if i dont like it to get out. we want to be together but its getting so hard to be living with grandparents and have them say mean things. what can i do?
