I put this on the rap section, then someone said i was being biased so now i'm putting it on the rock section.

I perfer neither. There both pretty extreme. Rap desrepects women, and Metal disrepects society...I would to find a good medium...But then it might not be 'true rap' of 'true metal'

I dont mean because their voices were muffled or heavy-accented.
Song meanings that you didnt just search on the internet, and took some time for it to come to you, and it came suddenly one day.
Also no songs that are pretty straightforward. Metaphors are more than welcome.

Do they have a dual personality disorder? I mean, I like old 80's love ballads and I don't think they're cheesy. It would be demeaning to my feelings to call them cheesy. If someone thinks they're cheesy, why would they like them?

I'm a latin guy so I guess I take my romanticism seriously. Are we that desensitized nowadays to not take into consideration the romaticism in music as part of the quality of the song? Or is it just the style of the music [not the lyrics] that's tuning people off?
