Don't say the song's perfect, if it is, move on to another song.

Mine:
Deep Purple's Soldier of Fortune, I wish it were longer. It always ends too soon.

Hey John, Whats Your Name Again? by The Devil Wears Prada. I wish there were more bass drops. And yes I understand that only about 5 people will know what I'm talking about..haha.

Two came to mind.

1. Guns N' Roses; Coma - i absolutely adore the song - but there's a bit where there are instruments playing and just people nattering away in the background. I mean, it does add the affect i guess [loads of things just buzzing through the person's brain] but that's what i'd change, i'd prefer to just hear the instruments at that point.

2. The Cure; Lovesong - it's a darling song, but it's /too/ short.
=[

edit, Silver; there is also a bit where the woman is nagging at Axl. I know what it's supposed to be. I was tired when i was answering the question - excuse my terrible lack of ability at self expression.

Fleetwood Mac's 'Gold Dust Woman' is slightly too short, there is a part where the drums could have been heavier, and sitars would have fitted perfectly.

Led Zeppelin ~ 'Stairway to Heaven'. The guitar solo / drum part is not long enough!

Type O Negative's 'Wolf Moon' has a drum part near the end, but it needs to be a bit heavier, and about 3 times as long.

'16th Century Greensleeves' {live} by Blackmore's Night could have been slightly heavier, the middle solo would have sounded really good if it was half guitar and half flute, and it could be longer. And I would love it to have a fiddle / flute intro.

A lot of my favourite songs seem too short to me!

I liked 'Soldier of Fortune', but I don't like his voice!
I far prefer the live Blackmore's Night cover.

Cinnamon ~

That bit in 'Coma' is supposed to be Axl slipping towards death, and he can hear all the hospital machines beeping, the doctors trying to save him, and Stephanie {?} saying she loves him.

np: 'Wish You Were Here' ~ Blackmore's Night

{No, it's not *that* one! Or the Fleetwood Mac one. A lot of their songs have the same titles as famous ones, but are completely different}.

I wish Soldier of Fortune was longer too Sarah
Me though I would take that wanky middle section out of
Whole Lotta Love
Totally ruins an otherwise awe inspiring crunch anthem.

My favorite song changes all of the time, but I'd like to stick to my original first love and say All My Love by Led Zeppelin. It's only fault? It was made for Robert Plant's son that died of a stomach infection. It's just terrible that such a great song had to come out of something so tragic.

Damien Rice's 9 Crimes could have had an amazing buildup. Instead, it just had a great buildup.

Rebellion (Lies) by Arcade Fire takes just a little too long to get to the good part. If they stretched out the end for like three more minutes, I'd be in heaven.

The most frustrating thing about any of my favorite songs is that I have to listen to RECORDINGS!! Wish I was there in the studio.

Darth: have you ever listened to Whole Lotta Love through good headphones? I think the song was made for 'em; very trippy.

I wish the vocals weren't so whiny sounding in Welcome to the Machine by Pink Floyd.. it had great potential but I can't stand listening to it.

I don't like the moaning in Rocket Queen by Guns N' Roses... its a beautiful song but that just ruins it for me to an extent.

I don't get the helicopter noises is The Wall by Pink Floyd.

I also wish that Eddie Vedder's AWESOME voice didn't sometimes get this cowboy-ish twang.

One of my favorite songs is "White Houses" by Vanessa Carlton. I think it's perfect, although she could have done the song more justice by adding more instruments for a more dramatic effect.

Well I love the song "Stairway to heaven" like many other LZ fans... but I must confess I don't like Plants voice at all. never did. too shrieked for my ears.... I would love to hear it with a distinct voice.
OK ..............I have come out of the closet now and said something politically not correct like Tony Soprano. LOL
