I can't believe he would be 65 but I have to agree with the first poster...I don't think he would have made it but who knows Ozzy and the guys from Aerosmith and the Stones probably did just as much drugs and booze as Hendrix and they are all still kickin'. RIP

oh and...

Vito C All Along the Watch Tower wasn't Hendrix's song...it was Bob Dylan's; Hendrix covered it.

Yea, Big Ups to Jimmy, he's awesome. An innovator in music. Luckily his music lives on. All Along the Watchtower is a great song. Big reason why I started playing guitar.

I love him. My dad got to see him while he was stationed in California for the USMC. I am so jealous of the fact that he got to see him. I have a DVD that shows some of his shows. Pure amazement.
