Yeah... you know what I'm talking about. I have Starland Vocal Band... and can still sing Afternoon Delight. What did you buy as a child that you know is an embarrassment but you secretly still kinda like it?

I was riding the bus to work, and this girl got on, she was probably somewhere between 18-20. She had spiky pink hair, many facial piercings, and a purse that was meant to look like military issue, with a GBH patch sewn to it. I had to almost physically restrain myself from telling her just how CUTE she was...I don't think that's what she was going for...

What else has made you feel like a relic? =0)

I did twice and was promptly kicked out lol.
First time: Love and Rockets and Daniel Ash kissed me (well worth being kicked out)
Second time: P.I.L. concert and Johnny Rotten spit on me

Okay, I'm ready to make a 2nd Guys with Guitars mix - mainly because I realized that I completely skipped Steve Earle on the last one. Any recommendations? I tend to prefer acoustic.

(In your own words!!!! Try not to Google!!!) How some artists were able to make the transition? Artists with hits in both categories? (like early Beatles and post-Sgt Peppers Beatles or The Rolling Stones, etc?) Explanation of evolution from "oldies" to "psychedelia rock", to "classic rock"?
It's not that complicated of a question! (lmao!!!)

I'm sure we've all the the great news that Led Zep are reuniting for a one off gig at the 02 arena, I for one can't wait!

But with a combined aged of over 140 and a 19 year gap since their last 'gig', will Zep be able to perform as well as other iconic bands such as The Who and The Rolling Stones?

What is you opinion?

I'm rephrasing my last question. With your personal taste put aside, who do you think in rock has the best vocal capabilities?
(or if you were Simon Cowell who would you pick as the best rock singer).

So it is like this, you may say I love The guy from nickelback, but that's impossible cause you have for example robert plant who did higher notes, that's the kind of question I'm asking. Not who you like the best, but who, according to his/her vocal range and capabilities is the best.

Remember it's not who you like...but who can do more difficult stuff with his voice...(anyone can scream as opposite to singing bohemian rapshody for example).

For me I think it would be Michael Kiske ex-vocalist of Helloween, I'ts not my favorite but I've never heard someone with a clearer voice and reach notes as high as he did and keep those notes for a while...

I think it is a message to the rest of us to stay creative and rock on... Stop being depressed over our losses. Led Zeppelin broke up over losing John Bonham, but still, so many people want to go see them after all these years. They were last together at Live Aid 1985

These are the ones I've killed by overplaying (not the ones that were eaten by a tape deck!):

Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols
Black Celebration - Depeche Mode
The Head on the Door - The Cure
In My Tribe - 10,000 Maniacs
Pretty Hate Machine - Nine Inch Nails

I want to download some music from iTunes and other stores, but I really don't know what to download.
I like primarily Iron Maiden, Queensryche, Metallica, Megadeth Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil. Even some Motley Crue, Guns n' Roses. But I do have most of their songs, I got Flyleaf's album recently and it's good, Chris Cornell's too, but I'm tired of those. I'm in the mood for something like Space lord from Space magnet, youwouldn't know by hellyeah, you know that cowboyish stuff or something different but cool. I like bands like Chevelle or Nickelback, but I never feel like listening to them, when I do I say cool but that's it. I don't like Emo enough to actually listen to it, neither punk rock (especially the new poser stuff). I like oldies but I'm not in the mood for those. I'm looking for something similar in some way to what I mentioned I like but not from those bands.
Any suggestion? Please mention only thing that's the best of the best, or at least very good.

I wanna see what other genres rock listeners like. I guess you can list fusion genres too.

I personally listen to any genre except modern R&B and pop and rap/hip hop.
