I think it is a message to the rest of us to stay creative and rock on... Stop being depressed over our losses. Led Zeppelin broke up over losing John Bonham, but still, so many people want to go see them after all these years. They were last together at Live Aid 1985

Ah, but Bonham was just a drummer. Didn't Ringo replace Pete Best? They were still the Beatles weren't they?

I think what is even more 'sad" is when younger artists like Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, disgrace the MTV awards by fighting.

No. There is no reunion without John Bonham just like the Beatles can't be the Beatles without Lennon and Harrison, Queen isn't Queen without Freddie Mercury etc etc etc.

I love the music but would not pay to see the band with someone else in Bonzo's chair.

EDIT: Calling Bonham "just a drummer" is like calling Secretariat "just a horse" in my opinion. I consider Bonham one of the finest rock drummers ever alongside Starr, Peart, and Hindalong. (Steve Hindalong is part of a band called The Choir which almost nobody's ever heard of and writes some very intricate interesting parts. Link to the band's Website below.)

I believe they're reuniting for one show only in London.....with Jason Bonham filling in for his father. There is no full blown reunion tour.....though Page is taking part in a Yardbirds reunion (without Clapton though)

No at this point it is just a sad little reunion of a couple of guys that can't sell tickets anymore w/o using the Zepplin name.

Reminds me of all those sad 60s groups that tour with one original member like Steppenwolf.

Are they reuniting for a new album ? Is John Paul Jones in it as well?

yea but it's only for one show. you know they had to shell out some cash to get them "reunited". i love led zeppelin, but i wish people would just let bands rest in peace and remember them for how awesome they WERE.

They would suck now...those guys are so far past their prime it would be embarrasing to go out on tour.....A couple songs for some special show and that's it...
