Gimme some names of albums released by one or two of your favorite lesser-known bands that made them overnight "Pop Sensations" That basically just ruined it for you so bad that you never bought albums of their's again after that point

Now Be honest.

***BTW - This question was partially inspired by a question that Lovnrckts asked yesterday, and by a discussion that Huevo Ranchero and I just had about two of his favorite bands that went "Pop"

I think everyone has at least one band that just doesn't fit in with their music collection. What are yours?

It's okay, I won't judge.

It's the original pressings of the Paul Stanley and Peter Criss Solo Records in their original sleeves. They're in fair condition, mostly cause they're sorta tattered. I'm not much of a Kiss fan so I'm not sure how much these are worth.

Yes, that was the title, not to be confused with the song with the same chorus, 'Money.'

I have a mixed opinon on this issue. I've been moshing a few times at various events and it does contribute to the mood of a concert when kept under control. In fact there was a brief mosh at my homecoming dance last night, however it only last a couple minutes and we were a bit conservative with what we were doing to make sure no one got hurt. And that's all well and good. But, when I attended wilder events, you could sense that people were trying to break free of the pit. People have died doing this, and I think that it should be kept on a shorter leash.

Did the teacher have a crush on his student or was he just merely trying to avoid getting tempted to do something with the girl who wanted him?
I heard it on the radio this morning and was just curious.

There are and have been many, but my vote has to go to Ian Curtis [r.i.p] of Joy Division.
Great musician, but goodness me...

And a weird one too. I'm having a lot of trouble differentiating Paul's and John's voices. And I guess George's, too, because Ringo's is the only one that I can be sure of. So any thing that can help is appreciated! Thanks! :)

What are your thoughts on 80s music? Me I would say it's my overall favorite decade of music, they've had alot of great music that was also considered fun, I'm a big fan of the hair metal bands and some of the heavier metal bands (thrash, NWOBHM), I also liked the commercial rock music of the 1980s (Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Journey, Heart)

Heaven & Hell are playing here Oct 27. In case you've forgotten, H&H = Black Sabbath - Ozzy + Ronnie James Dio. Anyone attended their concert before? Will they do any songs from Rainbow or Dio? Would love to have your opinion. (Would you believe they wanted me to ask this under Religion & Spirituality? LOL)

Fans of Rush - I have Moving Pictures, Grace Under Pressure, and Power Windows in my CD collection. Not familiar with the other CD's by Rush, except a couple from the 70's. In your opinion, if I buy 3 more Rush CD's, what ones should I add to my collection and why? They have such a huge catalog to choose from.....
