At the moment since I just bought their debut CD, I'm liking the Modern Lovers alot. Jonathan Richman is a great writer and his voice always makes songs interesting, it's too bad after this CD (self titled The Modern Lovers) he moved on to the softer more innocent silly music he made after this CD. But this CD is great enough to make up for it. I'll be singing "Roadrunner" and all the other classics in my head for a few weeks.
I've also been on a HUGE T.Rex kick lately, I can't get enough of it. I must've listened to "Chariot Choogle" over 20 times in the last week along with the rest of The Slider and Electric Warrior.
Also a constant presence lately has been the Kinks after purchase of The Kink Kontraversy, which is another flawless album. But I'll stick with the Modern Lovers for now.
