I was down with the flu yesterday, all depressed with nothing to do. I put some music on but it did no good until some songs of Metallica started playing. It was like an energy boost all of a sudden! Then, I remember the time I was having a tough time in my last job. I came home and put some Iron Maiden tapes, and gradually started feeling better...!

Is everything ok with you if you feel better after hearing the metal sound, the same sound that many other people find annoying?

I am feeling a little down that the lead singer of influential bands The Outlaws/Lynyrd Skynyrd and Boston, and the inimitable Dan Fogelberg all suddenly passed away this year. I feel older and somehow more obligated to sing because of these events. Is anyone else affected like I am by this year's losses, or are there other years that you felt like this? Love to hear from the music lovers.

vanessa hudgens' song "baby come back to me"...the lyrics that goes "baby come back.." ..has the exact same notes, melody an, beat as "baby come back" by Player (1977)...they totalyl took the beginning of the chorus and made a song for vanessa hudgens out of it...i hope they paid for those copyrights.

First of all, Merry Christmas!

I went to Religion&Spirituality a while ago, and found people really hateful down there.. it was quite spooky.

Then there's Polls&Surveys, where I thought the questions were fun, but extremely random..

If you go to Health, all you find is the "Am I Pregnant ?" question.. if you go to Family&Relationships, you get alot of "Why hasn't he called yet?". And finally, I don't think I'll ever go to Celebrities again.. it's filled with kids that are obsessed with Miley Cyrus and other Disney Channel stars.

Well, that's what I think. What other sections have you visited, and what are your thoughts?

My Ibanez bass starts to have a buzzing sound early this morning when i play the 6th fret in the E string. Thats the only part where my bass makes a buzzing sound. Can anyone give me suggestions on what to do? I'm thinking of replacing it but I'm still going to wait till the 2nd week of January to go to my dealer to make sure. Anyway, can anyone give me an opinion before hand? And if i should replace strings, any recommendations that will fit the Ibanez? Thanks :)

Basically Richard Clayderman mixed up the well known songs of Bach, Tchaikovsky, P. Senneville, and Brahms to form "Bach Gammon", but I dont know these songs name. I know one of them is "Swan Lake". Please help!

i was looking for a first wedding dance song, and listened to "we've only just begun" and karen carpenter's voice sounds so beautiful. and read about her life and it was just so sad. Does anyone else think its so sad? She died of anorexia, and died recovering with a weight gain of 30 pounds (she was 83 pounds!) and the weigh gain put strain on her weak hart, from the starvaton. its depressing. she was so young (33) and full of talent..a skilled drummer..with such charm..i watched her videos. her ex husband even attended her viewing and threw his ring into her casket!

i am definitely choosing that song. It is common, but very touching.

There has been an iTunes commercial on tv lately featuring the song Music is My Hot, Hot Sex by CSS. Maybe you have seen it?

As the song plays it features an array of things on an iPod screen one of which is a clip of an artist singing in a microphone.

As he sings he appears to scream into the microphone and as he does a spatter of red shoots from behind him. It's part of a music video. Does anyone know of this band/artist/song/music video?

Hi i am making a slideshow for my brother and sister in law. they have a 10 year old boy and a 1 year old girl. i have like 200 pictures but cant come up with a song that would fit. I made one for my mom about a year ago and used the song "i can only imagine" not sure who sings it but it made her cry when she watched it so i know i picked the right song! i am looking to get this lucky again on picking the song so i am here asking you all for help. i do my share and anwser questions on here all the time please help me !!
