As some of us here know, prog rock bands are notorious for doing songs at least 10+ minutes long. (& I Love my epics, baby!)

We've done 20 mins., we've done 15 mins. Not sure we've ever done it the other way around.

Among mine:

YES - I've Seen All Good People (this is *sorta* cheating. It's about 6:57) :)
Tempus Fugit, Does it really Happen?, Long Distance Runaround (not including "The Fish"), Cinema (rockin instrumental!)

GENESIS- Entangled (this tune is the one that finally drew me into them), Squonk, Can-Utility and the Coastliners.

ELP- Knife Edge, From the Beginning, Lucky Man, & basically all of 'side 2' of 'Tarkus'.

I am looking for an affordable, one-channel tube amp that can handle some overdrive. I plan to use some effects pedals, such as an Ibanez TS-9, Compression, and Crybaby wah. Price range up to $600. Do they get this cheap? I heard about the Vox AC 15CC1, but I hear that it is bad with distortion. Any Alternatives?

My two sons wrote the music and lyrics to a beautiful song right around 1985. Everyone who hears it, loves it and says it could easily be a "hit" song. They have been hesitant about selling it because it is "their" song. But they need the money for their families. How would someone go about the process of getting it sold? And, does anyone know approximately what a good song would sell for?
