No, but I am reduced to tears by all the questions on YA that refer to it like it is the greatest piece ever written, so fed up with hearing about it.

It was actually the first song I ever cried to. 6th or 7th grade. Then in freshman year, I bought an electric cello, I plugged my headphones in, and wow...there's nothing harder than playing and crying at the same time. <333 Great memories.

No, I do not...I am sick of it ; that and Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise. These are the classical music equivalent of Smoke on the Water....do NOT play in any music shop !

Please listen to atleast a few of these and open your mind to new pieces of music that are some of the greatest pieces ever written and tell me that they don't move you way more than Canon in D.

P.S. Malcolm stole the words out of my fingertips........AMEN!!!

Yes, it's awful. One chord sequence over and over and over and the same ground bass over and over and over. It's about as profound as the back of a cornflakes packet. Listen to some real music!

Yes, I do, but the tears are tears of frustration and confusion as to why this piece is played so damn often.
