my song is a rock song. and i have a keyboard. and i never know how to make a tune for my song D:

90% or more of rock music uses the "I IV V" progression in one key or another, try to work out a simple chord progression using some variation of these chords, for example using C major, I = C, IV = F, and V = G, so the typical pattern starts and ends in C,
often C, F, C, G, F, C. Play with different orders, different timings, minor and 7th variations. Pretty much anything you try has been used before, so modify it a bit to make it your own.
