Would you consider an 8 year old child who has no musical training, yet can be given a song they've never heard before, sit down at a piano for 2 or 3 minutes or so, and be able to figure out how to play the melody, to be gifted? Now, the child is no Mozart writing whole symphonies at age 5, but what would you consider this child to be?

Im trying to transpose a song for christmas.
And It's not coming out right.

Can someone who understands music theory just spell it out in stupid person terms for me please.

Ok.
Heres the situation.

I HAVE Piano Music.
Which is in the key of C.

I WANT Alto Saxophone.
Which is in the key of E flat.

Alto's Eflat concert starts on C and is all natural.

The Songs key signature Is all natural and starts on E.0

I have absolutely no clue what to do.
What Key signature would I use for the Alto music?
How many steps up would I go?

ok hi,
my parents grew up in the 80s listin to all that stuff right, an they still do and they got me listining to some 80s.

well i started talking to my friend about some 80s Rock(wich i like) and i brought up Mr. Roboto, because its a awsome song!
and she said that Mr. Roboto is Techno not rock. Mr Roboto is Classic Rock right!!

I asked both my 80s Loving parents and they said [my parents are 36 an 38, in there teens when M.R. came out] well...they said its Rock, Classic Rock.

Brianas mom was a kid in the 80s, her moms younger and she said her mom said its Tecnho an her mom grew up in the 80s too.

well her mom was still lk freekin 8 when it came out, my parents were lk 12 an 14.

Ok BASICLY is Mr. Roboto Rock! it is right...or is it Techno.

What songs do you want to have played at your funeral?

I mostly want happy music played. I want my funeral to be more like a going away party. I don't want people to be sad (even though I know they will be), I want them to think "wow, Linda was cool, let's celebrate her life." So here are some songs that I want played:

1. Joey Ramone's cover of "What a Wonderful World"
2. "Over the Hills and Far Away" by Led Zeppelin
3. "In God's Country" by U2
4. "One" by U2 (the version with Mary J. Blige)
5. "We're Here for a Good Time" by Trooper
6. "Knocking on Heaven's Door" by Guns N Roses
7. "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC (just for kicks-the fact that I would request this song to be blasted out of the church halls at my funeral would make all my friends laugh).
