I was starting one with some friends who were interested. ^ ^ While we're doing any song from The Beatles that we really liked, we're mainly focusing on the weirder, "drugtastic" songs (ie "I Am The Walrus", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Happiness is a Warm Gun", etc.)

My original idea was for the name "Lonely Hearts Club" (since most of the songs we're planning on covering are from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, also, it has a nice ring to it), but we wanted to have a few name ideas before we decide. The only real requirements are that it has to sound good and be at least a little Beatles-related.

I'm sure I've pigeon-holed myself enough that anyone who recognizes my post is expecting a pretty good, possibly long winded, list of punk songs. And I won't disappoint before this question expires, but, the songs that inspired this question were "Shapes Of Things" by The Yardbirds and "The Shape Of Things To Come" by Max Frost and The Troopers. Two of the best songs to ever grace my speakers. "Shapes Of Things" is one of the best garage rock songs out there as well as a very moving song, and while not necesarily about revolution it definantly deals with change and frustration with the current state of things. "The Shape Of Things To Come" is actually very different and just as good. The music is in a similar garage almost psychedelic style and is another top notch song, but where "Shapes Of Things" is a display of uncertainty and cynicism, this song is about certainty in the inevitible brighter future and features some of the best and most inspiring lyrics ever written and performed.

I've heard a few times now that she's working on an album and that her record company is going to give her a lot of time to work on it.

Lead vocal don't count, though it's an instrument.
Personally, it would be one of the saxaphones.

I tried to find it and I think that's the title. It's driving me crazy. It's kind of an old song. One line is "Day 18,263. Well, honey, that's 50 years. So here's to you and me." I can't think of anything else and I need an answer,lol.

Ye Gods Black Sabbath Is Amazing. They are definitely moving up towards My Top Spot. So much amazing musical diversity...so many great album. I'm starting to sound like a PR mogul!
How about it, ever get totally amazed by how phenomenally great a particular band is?
I think I've listened to A Hard Road and A Spiral Architect like 10 times each in a row now.

This question relates to the use of 'naturals' in neutralizing sharps/flats. If i'm in the key of E minor (F# the only sharp), and come across a sharped D or C in the sheet music, how long does that sharp stick around? That is, is a natural REQUIRED to neutralize that sharp/flat? Does the D# remain a D# until a natural is registered? Or is there a general convention by which the D# goes back to just D without explicity calling the natural?

I'm obviously not a classically trained player, and I don't understand how this convention (or lack thereof) is used.

Thanks in advance.

Note: If what I said doesn't make any sense, think of this;
a simple 3-tone progression in Eminor:
scored as D#-E-D;
Is the third tone also sharped since it lacks the natural? Or does it revert by some convention?

i have a nice voice, but it's not phenominal or anything. i want to know what excercises i can do outside of singing lessons (which i take privately) to make my voice stronger, so I can belt, louder, and higher, not to mention lower. I want to improve my range. My voice's strength and volume are particularly suffering!!!
