I was starting one with some friends who were interested. ^ ^ While we're doing any song from The Beatles that we really liked, we're mainly focusing on the weirder, "drugtastic" songs (ie "I Am The Walrus", "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Happiness is a Warm Gun", etc.)

My original idea was for the name "Lonely Hearts Club" (since most of the songs we're planning on covering are from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, also, it has a nice ring to it), but we wanted to have a few name ideas before we decide. The only real requirements are that it has to sound good and be at least a little Beatles-related.

This may be because I'm loopy and out of it right now, but the first thing that came to mind was "Lucy and The Walrus". But that sounds like the name of an indie rock band more than a Beatles cover band.

I do like Lonely Hearts Club.

Well "The Crickets" were Buddy Holly's band, from which The Beatles name took its inspiration; here in Dallas we have a great Beatles cover band called Hard Night's Day. There is the traveling Beatles cover band that plays w/ local orchestras called Classical Mystery Tour. So for your band, how about "Tickets to Rides", "Rubber Soulsters", or just "Paul McCartney's Nightmare" lol

Lonely Hearts Club is quite good, but what about The Warm Guns, since you mentioned that song.
