I teach a health class and next week we are studying the circulatory system. I thought it would be great to find Potsie's "Pump Your Blood Song " from Happy Days and have the kids sing along. I found it but the only one I found is sluggish and of poor quality. Can you PLEASE help me find a decent sound file of this song? THANKS!

and started a fund to give to obviously money desperate good old school alternative bands (when alternative really was alternative), that perhaps we would not have to hear Modern English on a Taco Bell commercial, or Violent Femmes on a Wendy's commercial or The Ramones on a Pepsi commercial?
It's killin' me.

Once again, this song is on a commercial, a clothing commercial actually...anyways, the song goes,
"If you are chilly, here take my sweater. And I, love, the way you call me baby...." There is more but I can't remember! It's a female voice, and kind of slow.

If you know, please help!
Thx

Mine is Spineshank's version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. They made that song rock. I also like Thrice's Eleanor Rigby and Aerosmith's Helter Skelter and Come Together.

Almost Nobody Ever Bring's Up 2Pacalypse Now When Talking About Pac People Alway's Bring Up All Eyez On Me , Me Against The World , Makavelli The 7 Day Theroy , I'm definitely the only one that feels this way, but I thin 2Pacalypse Now is 2Pac's best album after Me Against the World. I say that because Tupac was a much better socially conscious/political rapper than he was as a gangsta rapper. THERE, I SAID IT!! I guess that's why I love this album so much.

I kinda like it's sound. Like I stated earlier, it makes more raw. Once you listen to 2Pac raps, you could tell that there is a huge influence of preceding California heroes such as Ice Cube, Ice-T, or even Paris. 2Pac adressed social problems like police brutality, teenage pregnancy, poverty, drug use, etc. more so than he did on any of his succeeding albums. He may not have been able to beat any of the formentioned MCs in a rap battle, but with his thought provoking lyrics, it doesn't matter at all. Listen to the albums more powerful moments like "Words of Wisdom" or "Brenda's Got a Baby" and you'll agree. There are a few joints that are straight up gangsta tracks though. They're not as compelling or as good as the other more insightful joints, but they ain't bad. There's even a feel-good track within the militant ones ("If My Homie Calls"). The way I see it, this is probably one of the last great albums of the Afrocentric, right fist era of hip-hop (assuming it came after Apocalypse 91...). I don't know how many people will agree this one is a sleeper classic. A lot of people didn't see it back in the day, probably because of the production. A lot of people won't see it now, because of the production, the rookie-sounding flow in some of the songs, and the fact that it just ain't as great as Me Against the World.

Regarding the album, it's Tupac's rawest album. It's sound is a little unpolished, but that makes it more raw in my opinion. The production is unfinessed, and considering the tracks that Dr. Dre, ATCQ, Large Professor, and the Bomb Squad were doing, it sounds a little dated, even for '91

I love Wierd Al. I also love anyone doing recognized songs with new lyrics (such as Bob Rivers or the CthulhuLives.org site). Or recognized songs in new styles (such as Gimme Gimme's).

I would like somewhere else to look. A group, a website, somewhere to expand this part of my music choices.

I am putting together a video of photos of the family. Some have passed away and some are still living. I need an upbeat song to go along with the others I am using. It cannot be sad or talk about death, angels or being missed. It really needs to focus on life in general, good times, memories etc. The photos I will be using are of previous family reunions.

These are the songs I am already using:
Brad Paisley - Two People Fell In Love
Brandi Carlsile - The Story
Louis Armstrong - Wonderful World
Wet Wet Wet - Love Is All Around Me
David Gray - The One I Love
Rob Thomas - Little Wonders
Taylor Hicks - Do I Make You Proud
Elvis Presley - Glory Glory

silliest questions that continue to show up ad nauseam in the R & P. I know there are those trite old sayings like there are no stupid questions or the only dumb question is the one not asked. Well, they lied. If you can’t come up with five, that’s cool. Yesterday, I learned that saying “duh” is rude. However, a special exemption can be allowed for these.

1. Anything pertaining to Rock of Love.
2. Name some good bands?
3. Why do they have rock and pop together in the same section?
4. Why did System of a Down break up?
5. Was Nirvana emo?

Bonus question – Why does everyone hate on MCR? :-)

Does anyone know what song plays on the new JCPenny's commercial? It's the one where a woman pulls a rabbit out of her hat, another woman goes into a phone booth then it fills up with water and explodes.
The song says something about "everyone living inside a musicbox" It's a really catchy tune and i would like to buy it

I ask this because I went to a Velvet Revolver concert last night and I noticed that the crowd (which included LOTS of ppl under 30) went apeshitz when they played Ol' Guns N Roses songs and even the kids knew all the lyrics...The GNR songs got more response then the VR songs

"We could keep trying but things will never change, so I dont look back"

Think this is the chorus. Its a woman singing sounds a bit like Madonna. Its on the radio everyday but they dont name the artists.
