If you're like me, the remake does not hold anywhere near the charm of the original. I'm listing some songs and artists here. Can you name the original artist, and in some cases, several previous artists, who recorded the same song?

1. Amarillo By Morning - George Strait (Really BAD version of a great early '70s song...)
2. My Maria - Brooks And Dunn
3. Someday Soon - Suzy Boguss
4. Statue Of A Fool - Ricky Van Shelton
5. Love Bug - George Strait
6. Life Turned Her That Way - Ricky Van Shelton
7. Tiny Dancer - Tim McGraw
8. Tall, Tall Trees - Alan Jackson
9. Who's Cheatin' Who, (for that matter) - Alan Jackson
10. And last but not least, Pop A Top - Alan Jackson

Approx sixty years ago young people discovered the guitar. Big band swing, all kinds of Jazz, Crooners, etc, were swept away by guitar and drums and the world of popular music has been dominated ever since by minor variations on the theme with the occasional singer/songwriter plus piano.
Is there any chance we will ever see a new music type and a turn away from the guitar?

It's an instrumental song that used to get played a lot during sports highlights shows and going to commercial breaks (during sporting events), and I remember hearing it a lot back in the 80s. Very obscure, I know, but any ideas???

There's this 80's song i heard on the radio, the guy singing it kinda sounded like Bowie but i don't think it was, the lyrics went kinda like this...."No page unturned" or something like that. Could you identify it for me?

She has a higher pitched voice...along the line of Patsy Cline, the style is like Etaa James, ect. I tried to Google it, but all I got was Dr. Hook When your in love with a beautiful woman, and i know thats not it. It is much older than that, and slower. I cant remember which movie I heard it in...it might have been Grey Matters, but Im not sure.

thanks

I grew up in the 90s listening to lots of country music. I remember a music video where a (possibly pregnant) lady slipped and fell on a boat. It wasn't humorous, and I think she got hurt.

I can't remember the song, but I can vividly remember watching this music video, and this is the only part I remember.
