I'm a HUGE Kanye fan and have been for years. I love the guy, don't get me wrong. I own College Dropout, Late Registration and Graduation. I've seen him live in concert and have posters on my wall. I used to scream when I saw his music on MTV like THANK-YOU FOR FINALLY PLAYING SOMETHING DECENT! but now I don't know... it's weird. Him hanging out at fashion shows, getting married, posing with Lilly Allen, collaborating with Daft Punk. Even just the pictures of his home in some Life Style mag got to me (I read his blog) it's like he's a different guy now! Remember when he did Jesus Walks, remember the video for Slow Jamz? I loved him then, but now everyone's jumped on the Kanye bandwagon I'm starting to dislike him, BUT I STILL LOVE HIM!!! Anyone feel the same?

Since the south basically all the casual listener of "rap" listens to right now, here are two albums that I think should happen to help bring NY and LA "hip-hop" back. What would you think if these dudes hooked back up, elaborate on each choice.

Snoop Dogg hooking back up with Dr. Dre doing an album completely produced by him. Think about Doggystyle

Jeru the Damaja hooking back up with DJ Premier doing an album completely produced by him, think about Sun Rises in the east & Wrath of the math.

Lil Wayne " I'm On Like The TV"

Nas " From the womb to the tomb, presume the unpredictable
Guns salute life, rapidly, that's the ritual"

Lil Wayne" I Can Say it Don't Rhyme And It's Still Gon Rhyme"

Nas " I never sleep, cause sleep is the cousin of death"

Lil Wayne " i'm Flyer Than A Bee"

Nas " Jesus died at age 33, there's thirty-three shots
from twin glocks there's sixteen apiece, that's thirty-two
Which means, one of my guns was holdin 17
Twenty-seven hit your crew, six went into you"

I can't play anything perfectly in terms of gaps or slipping hands. Even though I know the piece forwards and backwards, I still make mistakes because I think tooo much about it. I play VERY musically and have REAL good control over my hands. I practiced this Chopin etude(no.18) for a YEAR. I know every section perfectly. I know it perfectly overall, but when I feel like playing it to enjoy (not practicing) I still keep making mistakes EVEN THOUGH I am concentrating my head off. HELP ME!!!! it doesn't seem like a technical issue to me.

When you play a french horn music written in bass clef do you play the notes as written or do you play the notes equivilent on the Treble cleff just an octave lower. For example on the song
Till Eulenspiegel, op. 28 by Strauss (found at www.hornexerpts.org) are the bass clef notes CGC (i dont think the horn can play that low but I think the question is worth asking anyway to make sure), or low AEC? Thanks for at least reading the question, and even more thanks if you take the time to answer it. I have been playing horn for almost 3 years now, and am 1st chair in my high school and made 1st chair in every state honor band and youth symphony orchestra i have tried out for, but dont know the answer to this, and dont have a private teacher to ask.

Sorry Wayne Your Not There Yet regardless of what all of you’re superfans think. I’m sure by now you’ve all seen or heard of MTV’s “Hot List” or whatever it’s called. And I’m sure many of you were left scratching your head after reading the list. But no one should really be surprised considering Main-Stream Hip-Hop audiences have the attention span of an ADD riddled child sippin’ Red Bull. let’s not confuse “hot” with greatness. Greatness is reserved for those that changed the game, that refused to conform to the various political power players that govern the music industry and those that have shown longevity and relevance from first album to last. There is no arguing that Lil Wayne is a hot artist right now. But take heed of the word “hot” - Infinitely different than legendary or great. Many an artist has had the “hot” label tattooed on their back for a time. But to keep that hotness and parlay that into greatness is the real challenge I think people are confusing being hot with having a certain level of skill.” Can Wayne parlay his prodigious mixtape releases into a classic LP? Neither “Tha Carter” nor “Tha Carter 2” were classic albums. To reach past just “hot” status, Wayne will need the forthcoming “Carter 3” to be a masterpiece to solidify himself as one of the game’s greats. Without that notch on his belt, Wayne fans will still sound hollow when debating his greatness

I'm looking for unique female artists, or bands with female lead vocals. Preferably acoustic sounding music, nothing heavy. I like songs with meaningful lyrics, or atleast lyrics I can understand. Anyone got any suggestions? I like music that ranges from Joan Baez, Melissa Etheridge, Alicia Keys, to Regina Spektor. Very open minded.

It does not nessacarily have to be any music type but it has to be about any event in history and two out of the ten required can be about a certain person and their contribution to history.

No two can be of the same artist or the same type (like national anthems for example)

I have some ideas involving Green Day and My Chemical Romance and the old classical symphony stuff. Catching my drift of where to go on this?
