I am looking for a band that plays in acoustic or sounds of modern rock in acoustic. Any good suggestions?

well i'm don't really know who sings it but the lyrics that i know are

"Come on come on, lookin for adventure."

and that is pretty much all i remember from the song.

Im 14 and my parents still dont let me download explicit music. I dont really agree with them because I already know all of the swears, and it's easy enough for me to listen to the explicit version of a song on Youtube, so why wont they buy me an explicit CD? Anybody know a good way to convince them?

The CD's that I would want to buy are of the Hip-hop/Rap genre, but my parents are fine listening to that in the car and stuff.

i thought at first it was an old o-town song or something.
but its a band ive never heard of before.
i cant remember the name...i think it begins with an "e", and the song starts with a "w" word.

"emo", "rock", "pop", "rap", "alternative", "pop punk", "classic rock", "goth", etc etc....

There's always debate on whether or not using labels to describe music is good or not.

I happen to be in the "It's Good" camp.

I think there's no escaping them. As Americans, we tend to love labeling. Part of our nature, generally.

Some argue that music labeling is bad because it may bias the listener(?) That's a guess, actually. If it's something else, tell us what it rreally is.

I think it's good because it gives the listener, esp. a newbie to a genre an *idea* what they're in for. Also, if someone is looking for a specific sound, a label works FAR better than asking for "good music".

What sayeth ye? :)

IT IS DEFINITELY NOT THE ZZTOP SONG! It says something like "give me all your lovin" in the chorus. It does not say "all your hugs and kisses too" after that. It might be something by the Stones, Lennon, or another 70s rock group. This is definitely not an 80s song, and it's not Def Leppard or ZZTop.

well we do get bands like slayer and metallica and alll that remains and like 5 more but none of the amazing good **** comes there!! we did have a black sabbath one but i couldnt go to that one and thats about it and a megadeth but like bands like machine head, trivium, opeth,shadows fall,deicide,cannibal corspe,dimmu borgir, and a lot more have never come? can someone tell me why? all we get is like pop i swear!
