I saw this performance of a Mexican duo called Rodrigo y Gabriela on MTV (they were actually very good, bravo MTV for having actual good music) They play fast acoustic rhythm guitar. They used to be in a metal band in Mexico but became frustrated with the limitations of the genre. I've just become a fan.
Also, there are no lyrics to any of the songs I've heard so far, so it's not like they're speaking Spanish and you can't understand what they're saying. But that wouldn't be a bad thing anyways, they're quite impressive.

Check out Switchfoot's acoustic tracks. They are pretty cool and I love playing their stuff for others, songs like Daisy and 24 definitely wow the ladies.
Also check out Mat Kearny. He is not so much a rock artist, but he has great acoustic stuff, and it can be called rock, though not all the time.

Alice in Chains ~ Nirvana both had some good acoustic sounds. If you liked Alice in Chains - you should check out Mad Season. Layne Staley from AIC was also the frontman for Mad Season

I had a buddy once play some Led Zeppelin acoustic.
(Stairway to Heaven, Over the Hills & Far Away and Bron Y Aur) and I was freakin amazed...

Stone Temple Pilots does alot of their stuff acoustic. Really nice, and very clean. I also have several recordings of Creed songs that are acoustic. Nice! Eric Clapton has also done an "unplugged" collection.

Check out their recordings and see what you like. Good luck!

John Vesely - Secondhand Serenade. i admire them they're my idols. you're no longer gonna locate stable acoustic artists in complicated rock communities like ac/dc or nickelback in my opinion. in case you certainly need stable acoustic artists, it incredibly is gonna be a various type of song
