Music - 20 July 2007

I am a HUGE Metallica fan, but i didn't get into Metallica until a couple years ago. I love all of their albums before Load and ReLoad. Those two albums don't even sound like Metallica back in the early 90's, but I like to listen to them once in a while. I hadn't really listened to St. Anger until I bought it for my Dad for Father's Day. I don't mean to bash on Metallica or anything, but that album was BAD. They're coming out with another album now, and it's going to be released sometime this summer (supposedly). I haven't listened to their two new songs, but do you think it will be like St. Anger, or will they reach back to the late 80's/early 90's and make another spectacular album?

If you were to buy one set of the complete Beethoven piano sonatas, what pianist would you choose??
Personally I would choose Emil Gilels. Although I find Schnabel's interperatation to be the best, his lack of technical mastery detracts from the experiance as a whole. Gilels in my opinion possesses a wonderful and balanced combination of technical mastery and interperative vision. Looking forward to your opinions.

Ok... I know i'm not giving you very much to go on.. I can hear this song in my head all the time.. I don't know the name of it.. It's making me crazy..

It was a very upbeat 80's dance song.. It had the word "Gold" in the song. It said "gold" over and over again in the background.. The word gold keeps chimimg.. during the chorus...

It is not "band of Gold"

It may have been a older song.. Done as a 80's remix. Most likely late 80's could have been early 90's...

I think it was in the same time frame of Alisha's " To Turned on"...
