I've been playing about 4-5 months now. My style is metal and hard rock. I play hours on end every single day. (up to 8-9 hours daily). Some of my friends think I'm insane for playing this long. I have really dedicated my heart and soul to becoming a better guitar player, but to be honest, I don't feel like I'm improving!

Is there anything that can help? DO NOT say practice, because believe me, that's ALL I'VE DONE this summer. I barely ever go outside! I confine myself to my room for weeks on end, my mom is even worried about me!

Is there anything I can do?

i just started to learn acoustic guitar about 6 days ago and im getting the A,E, and D chords down pretty good but the C and G are a little rough for me and i believe i heard somewhere before that thats a couple different ways to play them? does anyone know if its true or not and if so, how to? please help it'd be much appreciated! =)

In my opinion George Strait is one of the greatest if not THE greatest country singer of all time. It's hard for me to pick one as being "the best". I'd have to say my TWO favorites are:

Amarillo By Morning - A timeless classic that sounds as good today as it did the day he first sang it.

and

Love Without End Amen - This song wouldn't have even been top 10 before I became a dad, now it takes on a whole new perspective.
