Could it be that you mean "Morning Mood" from Edvard Grieg's "Peer Gynt Suite"? Because this one opens exactly as you describe.

Two songs that com to mind are ''Morning Song'' by Edvard Grieg and Spring from the Four Seasons by Vivaldi.

Is it Debussy's "Prelude to Afternoon of a Faun"? That's the one I hear most often. I tried finding a sample for you, but all of the samples I found have the beginning, not the middle, which is what is usually used.
I will think about it some more, and see what I come up with--I think it may be on the "Fantasia" soundtrack, so I will check it out and see if I can come up with something solid.

I'm pretty sure it's the Mendelsohn Spring Song. http://youtube.com/watch?v=IWwCp7w-2yU
Another possibility, also used often for spring, is the 2nd movement of the "William Tell Overture" by Rossini.

I'm guessing "Spring Song", one of Mendelsohns's "Songs Without Words"
Here's a link to a midi file
