It all depends on what your definition of techno is.. but:

Anything from Dance Dance Revolution is pretty much
techno and it's allll dance.

For popular bands, Mindless Self Indulgence is popular.
And they're kinda techno..
or Shiny Toy Guns..

or you can try..
Ambient Theology
Atomic Babies
Bjork
Cleen
DOCO
Dubtribe Sound System
808 State
Erinfall
Fatboy Slim
Fluke
Frontside
Future Sound of London
Gearwhore
Haddaway
Juno Reactor (<--very good)
Kraftwelt
Lords of Acid
Lunatic Calm
Moby
Mortal
NeoTek
Orbital
Paradigm Shift
Prodigy
Right Said Fred
Situation Taboo
Underworld
Virus
White Town
U4eA
Ubzorb
Ugoagogo

Haha, hope that helps.

the Chrystal Method, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld
I'm not a big techno guy, but I like those guys. Doesn't really count, but I would check out DJ Shadow, DJ Q-Bert, and anything Automator.

Too many to name. The short answer is to check out The Ministry of Sound. Anything they put out kicks ***. I've bought like 6 of their CD's in past month and I've yet to be dissapointed.

If you don't wanna buy them, just look the albums up on amazon.com and they provide the tracklist.
