I guess I should start off with my age, I'm 17. Yes, I fit into the category of the generation I am talking about, but I can't stand what my peers listen to! I am a musician, and I've been told by my friends, who are musicians and not, that they respect my musical opinion. So, when I'm asked to listen to a song by a band with a name that is VERY out of the ordinary (Panic! At The Disco), playing a song that is very simplistic, I cry. These names are new and fresh, and are showing people a false message of, "They have a long name... they must suck!". Not to mention the song name being a sentence long.

Now, I know I shouldn't focus on appearance, I should focus on the music. What music? Music is supposed to be enjoyable to ones taste. A unique experience, on that you haven't witnessed before. But almost every song sounds the same! And if it IS something new, It's just a guy screaming his lungs out at a screeching pitch, just to have no one understand him! What happened to talent?

I was on IMDb.com and was looking at the movies and stuff Good Charlotte has been in and there a film { documentary, I think } called "Punk's not Dead" and in the credits it contained such bands as Green Day, Good Charlotte, and other punk bands. Anyways, one of the bands was called Funeral Dress, and it looked kind of interesting, but I'm not sure what they are, or where I can look them up.
