Rock in the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's was popular than in the 90's rap and hip hop became more popular. Now I listen to some new rock and it isn't half bad. Do you think Rock is becoming more popular?
I think my favorite decade of Rock is the 80's but that is when I grew up.

I'm talking about classic rap, from back in the day before it was all about showing how much money you have, and how big your rims are, and how illiterate you are. Good examples of groups include Naughty by Nature, Public Enemy, Tribe Called Quest, N.W.A... Their lyrics were sooooo good and creative. I need to increase my album library and I want to have more classic rap other than the 3 that I have now.

Half of the song seems to be his own lyrics and other times it seems like the words from the song "Amazing Grace." He sings, "Hallelujah, praise God... Hallelujah.... etc., etc.... sorry can't remember the rest of the words. It's an upbeat contemporary song and it's been around for a few years I think. They play it a lot on the radio.

I'm 46 (I know...ancient) but love all kinds of music & think Placebo are exceptional! Anybody out there going to the Seattle show at the Fenix? This will be my 7th time seeing them live, they never fail to blow my mind!
I would like to find fun people close to my age with the same taste in music to trade MP3s & email/chat with. I love a lot of British groups old & new; (Like Beatles, Bowie, T Rex, Stones, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Sweet, Sex Pistols, Suede, Pulp, Oasis, Blur, Elastica, Kula Shaker, & Aussie bands The Vines, Muse & Jet) I've been a music freak/collector since the age of 8! I even like some gangsta rap & reggae (variety is the spice of life!) I also love "Ladyboys" & the film "Velvet Goldmine." Please don't bother answering if you are just going to waste my time being rude or homophobic! Thanks!

the first line is "hello there" and I can't remeber the words I know the tune. Something like "your the angel in my nightmare" the band sounds a bit like panic at the disco - it might be them i dont know lol

I have heard and seen on the internet that My Chemical Romance have split. Is this true? I went to one of their concerts last Thursday (22/3/07) and there were no signs at all of them splitting up. Does anyone know the truth? Thanx for your help.
