A flat major scale has four flats: B, E, A, and D. So, start on A flat, and incorporate those into the scale. Just remember the order of flats: BEADGCF. It's like saying "bead", and then "gcf". So, if someone tells you to play a song with three flats, you'll know they are B, E, and A. Since A flat major scale has four, you know they're B, E, A, and D. (Also, the order of sharps is FCGDAEB: Fat Cats Go Down Alleys Eating Bread.) Hope that helps! :)
