Help with bass?
what would you suggest for learning bass???(not the classical double bass, bass guitar)
this is for a 12 year old who has never touched a bass before and wants to learn,just to add(some idols are Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy and Matt Rubano from Taking Back Sunday)

I know with an ipod we can take 10000 but humor me and limit yourself to 5 CD's you'd take along with you. And yes I know you would chose something else to get you off the island but just give me your choices please.

We are a group just starting and we want to expose our music to people but we dont know if the songs are good, so please listen to them and let us know. Give your opinion good or bad about each song, tell us what your fav. and just your thoughts on all 4 of them I know I cant give everyone 10 pts, but the answer with the most judgement in each of the songs (weather you think they are good or bad) will ge the 10 points.

Just wondering, since I was really amazed by seeing the Grand Ole Opryand wonder why such a weekly music star cavalcade doesn't exist for other musical genres like rock (alternative, hard rock, metal, etc.). And I mean all live music, TRL and Soultrain have more of discoteque feels.

Having said all this, why don't comparable programs exist (weekly revues featuring a few big names and some regulars broadcast locally or nationally syndicated?

the song is an oldie and he sounds like he's crying. some of the lyric are "oh, oh, oh, oh, oh..." "and the tears...." something about "crawl into a ball and die" it's a soul song and it's right on the tip of my tongue but i don't remember.
