if u like rap, read this (10 pts)?

Question

We are a group just starting and we want to expose our music to people but we dont know if the songs are good, so please listen to them and let us know. Give your opinion good or bad about each song, tell us what your fav. and just your thoughts on all 4 of them I know I cant give everyone 10 pts, but the answer with the most judgement in each of the songs (weather you think they are good or bad) will ge the 10 points.

1.Fly Like Me:I like the beat a lot and it's something I would definately listen to. The lyrics are alright, but I guess you can't expect romantic poetry from a gangsta. It expressed what kind of ruca the rapper wanted, in his own way with some flavor. All in all good.

2.Deja Vu: This song gave me mixed feelings! LOL! I know I'd be dancing at the club to this like a stripper, but when I just sit here and listen to the lyrics I'm offended. But also the lyrics are true!

3.Nothing 2 Lose: Well this one does have too many Yeahs! Again, the beat is great, but I'm just not feeling it like the first 2. I don't feel what the rapper is saying, no emotion!

4. She: Shouldn't have the "ready to fall in love" all the time in the background. It gets annoying after a while. It was good at the beginning and if it would have been in there every now and again, then it would have been better. Lyrics, well I just don't agree with them, very dominating! I have to say this is your weakest song and I wasn't feeling it at all!

1. Song is okay, but there needs to be more lyricism, more MC skills.
2. Sounds too much like very other "Dirty South " club song that's been played in the last 5 years. I can't tell the difference between this song, and whatever the Ying Yang Twins have done.
3. Nice subject matter, I like the MC's flow and delivery.
4. Nice beat, nice sample, but more lyricism.

People are saying hip-hop is dead, because there are too many artists (mostly in the South) who aren't making original, creative music anymore, and lack MC and songwriting skills. Everybody sounds the same, talking about the same stuff, making the same sounding music. Ya'll gotta bring something creative to the masses, don't do what the mainstream artists are doing just to make the fast money. It's cool to make a hot club or radio joint, because that's how people are gonna hear about you, but make sure you're not one-dimensional artists.

1) musics alright, lyrics suck
2) musics good, lyrics aint too original though.
3) reminds me too much of Lose Yourself by Eminem. and the "yeah"s in the background get on my nerves
4) cant stand it. but maybe that because it wont stop skipping

Overall Im not too impressed. I think with some work though, and some creativity you could probably make it alot better. You got the right vibe as far as the music goes, but the lyrics just bore me 90% of the time.

Dont take any of it personally. Thats my honest opinion.
