Okay i'm gonna be in a pageant soon and for the talent contest i'm singing. What song should I pick that really would showcase my voive but still be interesting to listen to. Prefferabbly a song that a woman sings instead of a man. Thanks for the suggestions

It goes:
Youre lovely to me, yes you are,
and Venus ascending is truly your star.
It sounds like Bob Dylan, but I cant be sure.

I could be imagining it but when I was a kid I could swear one 80's music video ended with... it was either a suitcase or a disco ball... I can't even remember but it sprouted womans legs and walked off by its self. If that is a real video what was the song and artist?

Listening to the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, I am amazed by the stamina that must be required of a drummer. I grew up listening to rock in the late 60s/early 70s and think that is really where the drummer came to be so crucial to the rock and roll band.

Are there any drummers from the 1963 or earlier that you might have heard that would show that they were capable of the same type of rapid fire percussion as we are hearing now.

some of mines are:
And I just hope you know,
That if you say,
Goodbye today,
I'd ask you to be true,
Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you… (cancer)

"Cause I see you lying next to me, With words i thought i'd never speak, Awake and Unafraid, Asleep or dead " (famous last words)

Trust, you said, who put the words in your head,
Oh how wrong we were to think,
That immortality meant never dying (our lady of sorrows)

But this time, I mean it,
I'll let you know just how much you mean to me,
As snow falls on desert sky, Until the end of everything,
I'm trying, I'm trying, To let you know how much you mean(demolition lovers)

I never want to let you down or have you go ( I’m not Okay)

If you were here, I'd never have a fear,
So go on live your life,
But I miss you more than I did yesterday
you're beautiful! (Give ‘Em Hell Kid)

So paint it black
And take it back
lets shout it loud and clear
On and on we carry through the fears(welcome to the black parade)

NO HATERS!!!!

One of the most famous songs by Metallica, One, is about a man who has lost his arms and legs (I think his senses too). If you were in that person's position, would you still have a desire to live, or would you want to commit suicide?
