i currently own an ibanex EDB600 and am rather unhappy with its' sound. I feel that my current bass's sound is just a little too mellow.
i like the warmth of it, but not at the cost of any snap.
i know that it is not an eq issue... i think it's jut the sound of the actual bass.
I'm looking at a Fender J-Bass (the geddy lee). I've played it a few times and am mostly happy with the sound of it.
i really like the maple fretboard. i feel that it gives a little more snap and click. (the sound that i am going for).
What bass would you suggest for a really nice clear, bright sound? (it doesn't have to be fender....and i would prefer a maple fingerboard)
also, i am looking at spending 1000 or less.
any suggestions would be very helpful! thank you!

Sunday I'm gonna have a solo and this other girl is mean to me and she shoves me when she walks by me and she told me that I cant sing worth crap and I been singing since I was 5 she is mean I heard her in the bathroom how she was gonna make me do something emberrissing during my solo what do I do?
