For anyone who has seen (if you haven't, it'd be impossible for you to help) anyway, if you HAVE seen it, can you please tell me the name of the song that is playing in the beginning when the little boy goes into the little corner store. Its a song that is in another one of Scorsese's movies, i think Goodfellas.

I recently started learning a flogging molly song(black friday rule) which is quite a bit faster than anything Ive played before. Im playing the chords on an acoustic and using a heavy pick(I was breaking too many mediums). When I play it I can rarely make it through more than one and a half verses with out losing my pick.

Ive tried holding it tighter but it gets caught up in the strings. Then I tried holding it more loosely but I ended up losing it faster.

Is there something Im doing wrong? How can I stop loosing my pick?
